believe it of not, im a jets fan, needless to say im more that a little disappointed with their progress (if you can call it that) so far this season...even if Pennington does get gamefit soon i feel the team will be too out of sync to claw anything positive out of this year

Even though I'm not religious, amen to that. It would be much better if there is 1 thread for each Conference such as the AL/ NL, West, East etc.

Exactly, it's what I've been saying since these type of threads began popping up. Chad isn't out for the year, I think they said that he's been throwing again in practice and he might come back as soon as a month instead of being out until December.

I've always liked the Jets, but they seem to be running through a bad luck streak right now. I mean, they are already 0-4... I can't see them coming back from there, even if "The Chad" does come back...

Haha, if that isn't the over-statement of the year, then I don't know what is. When Pennington comes back, the Jets will...still suck...badly infact. Their defense is horrible(worst in NFL) and theif offense(running game and passing game is close to last). When Pennington comes back, they will be a little better but they aren't gonna "rule" again. Thats a joke.

Haha, they made the playoffs last year because they had a good defense last year. Do they have a good defense this year? No. And Pennington doesn't play on defense so I don't see how his return will make the defense play better.

The JETS won't get rid of Testaverde now that Pennington is injured, I think they'll keep him around 'til next year if "The Chad" (as someone previously called him) get healthy and shows signs that the injury won't really affect him anymore. Vinny will retire a JET though.
