Bill Guerin will be out 4 - 6 weeks due to emergency surgery to relieve a buildup of blood in his severely bruised right thigh. He is expected to missed the rest of the regular season and probably will be out part of the playoff (depends on how well he recovers). That means 'nucks and Wings (as well as Blues and Avs) will all have an even better chance of knocking the stars down (even if Turco returns). ------------------- Away

	Oh no! Bad news for the Wings. Fedorov got divorced from Anna Kournikova. Games on tap for tonight: NYI vs NYR - Playoff concerns for both DET vs CBJ - Nothing major VAN vs BOS - Boston needs wins to stay in 8th FLA vs TOR - Panthers are basically out. But Leafs are fighting for 4th in the East -------------------

	Nashville Predators trade their fourth round pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft for the Montreal Canadiens forward Oleg Petrov. Chris Pronger practiced with the Blues again, he should help them out when he returns. -------------------

	Thats old news J They were married for a short period of time (not sure how long) and probably happened a few years back (after the Bure). Anyways my 'nucks came from behind against Boston (1 - 0) to win 6 - 4 (one empty net goal). Sku had a pretty good game stopping 37 shots. ------------------- Away

	That aint old news. Everyone just found out that they were actually married so how could it be old news. Anyway my Wings also won tonight to. Beating the Jackets 3-2 with Legace in net. Toronto lost to Florida which doesn't help them for that home ice advantage in the first round when they will most likely face the Flyers. Rangers and Isles tied in another game so each gets a point. Well you can me all you want but your gonna get it tomorrow as I will be at the Oilers game against the Sharks in the luxury seats. Beat that one. -------------------

	I beat that already, i being in a box before (altho the view stinks in there, i prefer the front row seats behind the bench a lot more). Anyways it is old news... its just new for the public but they were married a long time ago and i heard about it over 2 years ago in a 'nucks game (they talked about it while talking about Bure). ------------------- Away

	Leafs played crap again tonight. they lost 4-1 to the Sens. Leafs played pretty good in the first, but then the penalties came rolling in (111 penalty mins for Tor by the end of the game) the Sens got four 5 on 3 pp's and three of them were for a full 2 minutes. And I think this game solidified the Leafs Vs. Sens rivalry as the best rivalry in the NHL right now. very physical (I am sure you will see it on sports shows) -------------------

	Well I'm back those luxury seats at the SkyReach Center. Ahh nothing like not having to pay for food or drinks and seating between the red line and blue line. I had some great seats. Oh yeah there was a game on. The Oilers finally pulled out a 'W'. With the help of some returning players like Salo and Smyth. Wow I watched the Leafs and Sens game during the intermission. Talk about a circus. What was Tucker thinking when he went right into the Sens bench. But you got it right IME, 'Best rivalry in Hockey'. -------------------

Anyways I found a pretty intresting arctical today about Jagr and his taxes. quote PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Jaromir Jagr of the Washington Capitals owes more than $3 million in back taxes, the Internal Revenue Service alleges in a federal tax lien. The IRS filed the lien Friday in Allegheny County Court. According to the lien, Jagr owes $3,270,209 in income tax for the 2001 calendar year. That amount might include penalties and interest. Jagr made more than $10 million, including bonuses, from the Pittsburgh Penguins in his last season with the team, 2000-01. He later signed a $78 million contract with the Capitals. ``Jaromir and his financial advisers are aware of the situation and he has been assured that the proper steps are being taken by his financial team to resolve this matter,'' said Linda Dozoretz, a spokeswoman for IMG, Jagr's sports marketing management team. In August, the IRS filed a claim for $350,000 in unpaid income taxes and penalties and interest for 1999. That lien was satisfied when the balance was paid. Jagr has 30 days after receiving notice of the lien's filing to request a hearing with the IRS Office of Appeals to contest the action. Jagr still owns a house valued at $338,400 in Upper St. Clair, according to the Allegheny County real estate Web site. The lien lists an address for Jagr in Severna Park, Md. ------------------- Away

	Yeah I heard about poor Mario Jr./Jags. Here is some other news from around the league as well: After the melee at the Corel Centre last night, Domi and Tucker both get suspended. Tucker gets 5 games and Domi gets 3 games. NHL players will have to pay taxes when they visit Alberta. The ruling was upheld that players are to be taxed when playing a hockey game in Alberta. I've also got three dates circled on my calender. March 11th which is the NHL trade deadline. April 5th where Toronto and Ottawa face each other on the last day of the regular season at "the Hanger". Finally of course when the NHL playoffs start. -------------------

	Im just waiting for March 11th! This coming week should be very intresting in hockey. A short losing streak might result in a team dumping players (or in the 'nucks case, loading players). A winning streak could turn a seller into a buyer (like the Kings). ------------------- Away
