By the time I was ready to watch the game, it was already over. But I'm happy with the results.

Super Bowl Sunday? Screw that, the Sens are playing tomorrow!

The referees made a similar non-existent goaltender interference call during the Bruins/Maple Leafs game yesterday The Don, which wiped out what I thought was a good goal in that contest.

In consecutive days, a team has been hit with a non-existent goaltender interference calls that wiped out what appeared to be a good goal. At least that's the way it looks to me, so I could easily be mistaken.

In last night's case, it only mattered in terms of principle because the Bruins won anyway, but in today's instance, it cost the Ottawa Senators at least one point in the standings. What I don't understand is why these calls are being made, especially when they appear to be non-existent?

I thought the Bruins got away with one last night. All things considered I'm surprised that Montreal only had one goal after two periods, because of what little I got to see of the game, the Habs had the Bruins back on their heels defensively, and I was surprised that Montreal didn't score in that first period.

The Bruins were lucky in that regard; the two goals they scored early in the third period was a result of them hanging tough through two periods in which they didn't play their best. They say that a win's a win, but the Bruins just as easily could have lost that one.

Here's a question of uncertainty: will the Lightning/Bruins game currently slated for Saturday afternoon be affected by that blizzard, which is going to make a big mess in the Northeastern United States? I can't say for sure, but I'm right in the path of it.

I'm not that disappointed with the loss to the Bruins last night. It was a pretty good game and the goalies did a tremendous job. Habs lost again to the Sabres tonight in a shootout. Still get a point at least.

Jets are beating the Leafs atm.

Apparently, some common sense does prevail from time to time, as tomorrow's Tampa Bay Lightning/Boston Bruins game has been rescheduled from 1 PM to 7 PM local time as a result of a blizzard that's going to leave a nasty mess in the Boston Metro area.
