It's going to take a long time to determine the winner of that Harden deal. Thunder are making a risky move, Harden may have been a ghost for the all of the Finals, but to not give them at least one more shot is kind of shocking to me.

"One more attempt"?
You people are making it seem like they're going to be a four seed and lose in the first round.
Now who's overreacting? No one implied anything even close to that lol.

Boston may have lost this first game but damn is that bench better than it was last season. Once they gel, they're going to be improved. Heat need to watch out.

Hahaha they're 2-2. Not bad considering all of the injuries you guys have. You must be impressed with Aminu so far in the year though.

Nash is going to have a field day with D’Antoni as coach, so I'm pretty optimistic about that since he was struggling before he got injured. If the Lakers can show they can play D, then this might work. Offense will take care of itself. Not my first choice but I'll reserve my judgement.
Honestly, I'm 95% sure the talks with Phil broke down because Phil didn't want to travel with the team on road games. Lakers management wasn't down with that.
Edit: "Ken Berger @KBergCBS Mike D'Antoni expected to reach out to fellow USA assistant Nate McMillan as potential defensive assistant, league source tells"
Get it DONE.

Mayo's a hell of an option as a sixth man. They should have resigned him. Would be a bigger version of last year's Thunder with an actual point guard.
He wasn't a good fit in Memphis and he wouldn't be putting up any kind of similar numbers there, starter or not. quote Lesley Pro_04
EDIT: Holy crap! Anybody else see what the Rockets did to Jeremy Lin's former team, the Knicks? The final score was 131-103 Rockets; makes me wonder if the Knicks regret letting Jeremy Lin go via free agency this past offseason. C'mon now, we all know Lin was overrated as *bleep*. quote Dragonfist
Rondo started that whole fiasco. It seemed to me that Humphries got mostly KG's shoulder and very little of his face. Rondo's just a confrontational asshole. That ref bump in the playoffs, hacking Wade for no reason whatsoever during the season opener...it's just unnecessary. Gerald Wallace and KG also had some beef going on. Wonder if they'll all get suspended. I don't blame Rondo for hating Wade at all.Edit: Lesley Pro_04 lol those two videos don't show any dirty plays at all.

I won't be sold on the Knicks being a contender until I see the team as a whole still playing at high level after the All Star break. Maybe then they'll make a believer out of me. I just can't trust Melo to keep it going throughout the entire season. And yeah, it's obvious to anyone who isn't blind the Heat are in major coast mode right now.

I feel bad for the Lakers, specifically Kobe. You know that guy demands excellence, and his teammates have not delivered at all so far.
Don't feel bad for Kobe, he needs to demand excellence from himself on defense before anything. Gambles way too much and he thinks his teammates can recover for him everytime. Edit: lol my bad Lesley.

I would just like to rant about how frustrating yet great Kobe Bryant is... this guy finally figured out that if he just passed the ball a little bit more and set up his teammates, that the game would be ten times easier for both the team and him. Like damn man, why weren't you doing this consistently last season or before? He can already do literally whatever the hell he wants on the court, passing like this makes him that much harder to guard. Now Houston/Portland/Jazz need to start losing some games or I'm going to be pissed.

Vinny would be a fool to leave DJ out on the court in crunch time.. doubt that's going to happen honestly lol. After Kobe guaranteed the Lakers would make the playoffs, his last two games were beastly... vs. Portland: 40/7/4 and @ Dallas 38/12/7. Making that last push.

The Lakers wouldn't have a single loss if the damn refs didn't screw everything up all the time... and no, Miami will be in the Finals again. Pacers may get a game or two like last year, but no one is stopping Miami.

I don't understand the criticism for this other than the fact that he's doing this and not the dunk contest.
Because every NBA great has participated at least once in the Dunk Contest. Add to the fact that every year he tweets some bs such as "Slam Dunk contest?" which gets everyone hyped up that he may actually do it. I think he's afraid of losing tbh.

Because every NBA great has participated at least once in the Dunk Contest. not Lebron or Wade. Neither did Barkley, Malone, Chamberlain, Russell, Stockton, Robertson, Parker, Kareem, Bird, Magic, Duncan, West, Isiah, Iverson etc etc etc etc I worded that really poorly. LeBron is going to go down in history as probably one of the top 5 to ever do it. So will Kobe and Jordan, who competed and won before. Obviously LeBron knows that, so why the hell wouldn't he want to do the same? Just doesn't make any sense to me. He's doing the league a disservice by tweeting about it every year and then disappointing everyone when he declines. Even Wade tried to get him to take part this year. Also, I never said LeBron would lose lol. The Hazard I'm not asking him to do it every year, man. He only needs to do it once. I agree it would be shitty af if he did it every year and won lol. How can you be 'above' the Dunk Contest? It's one of the most anticipated events at All Star Weekend. He might make it seem like a dunk contest everyday, but just imagine him being able to do whatever the hell kind of dunk he wants for just one night. That would be so damn cool.

I see nothing wrong with a star winning the Dunk Contest every year as long as there are different guys competing each time. It would produce more memorable Dunk Contests imo. Just me, though. Chaos Team That sounds epic already hahaha.
