No they won't. The Raptors held on because the Pacers only scored 14 in the fourth, which totals 19 points between the two teams. I don't remember seeing a 4th Quarter in which the combined score was that low, but I do remember a combined quarter score that was lower: 10. A few seasons ago, the Celtics and the Hornets (I think) combined for only 10 points in the second quarter, but the third quarter was a much different story, where the Celtics had already surpassed the 100-point mark.

It was the last time that the Celtics broke 130 in regulation, which doesn't happen that often in today's NBA.

And the Knicks are 4-0 for the first time since the 1993-1994 season. If they keep this up they could be a contender.

Oh man, I tried to watch that game in its entirety but I was so sick last night I just gave up around the 4th quarter and passed out. I gotta respect Kobe for putting the team on his back, seemingly that's what he's gearing up to do for the next couple of games since they have to get accustomed to the new coach. Too bad it wasn't meant to be, haha.

I'm sure you meant 5-0, Lesley. Melo and the Knicks have been killing it. It's worth noting the team isn't exactly the youngest bunch either.

Exactly. They aren't going to be able to do anything come playoff time because they just won't have the energy. I love me some Sheed though.

That I did; probably was tired when I posted that.

Could have been an easier night for the Celtics, but one of the referees kept calling non-existent travelling at what could have been inopportune times. Doc Rivers was quite upset over one such call in the closing seconds of regulation because Jeff Green got fouled, but he didn't get T'd up.

More of a concern: Rajon Rondo rolled his ankle and had to leave the game after continuing his 10-Assist streak, a streak that is up there with the all-time longest streaks of 10+ Assist games. While he didn't return to the game, I'm concerned that he could miss some time.

One other thing: the Pistons get their first win of the season by knocking off the 76ers, 94-76.

I hate everything about the Heat but I can't stop watching them. I'm enthralled by everything they do.
