Terrible night on the boards tonight for the Celtics, who were -10 in rebounds (-5 each in both Offensive and Defensive Rebounding), -4 in assists and -16 in Points in the Paint, losing 99-88 to the Bucks.

While they need to get their act together, good news is that they're in DC tomorrow night to take on the Wizards--perfect time to develop short-term memory if you ask me.

I can't afford anything like that because of the continuing struggles that I've been having in terms of making ends meet, which is what happens when the powers that be decide to cut hours without thinking of the little man.

It's an aggravating situation on my end...

Just watched the incredible Nuggets - Heat game! Went down to the very last second! Finally my Nuggets are playing like themselves, like an offensive workhorse!

And of course, since I'm a Celtics and a Nuggets fan, Ray Allen hit the game winner....

As angry as I could be about the outcome, especially after a very questionable non-call that changed the momentum of the game, I'm just glad my Nuggets are getting back into shape and can finally start climbing the ladder after those first two slumps of a game.

And Faried and McGee are beasts, nuff said.

When the Heat play their first game in Boston, I'm expecting Ray Allen to get boo'd out the building, and I wouldn't be surprised if the crowd started a "You Sold Out" chant because that's what he looks like to the eyes of a number of Celtics fans.

Like Johnny Damon was when he went to the Yankees, Ray Allen has joined the long list of Boston fan favorites that sold out to a rival franchise.

Speaking of which, the Celtics got their first win of the season, albeit by three points. While I was on lunch, a 3-point attempt from the far corner got stuck between the rim and backboard, drawing some laughter.

Who takes the jumpball in that situation: anybody or the shooter vs anyone on the other team? I haven't seen that happen enough to know the procedure offhand...

Anybody interested in participating/starting up a neoseeker fantasy league? I saw a thread for a fantasy football league and baseball I think. If we can get enough people, why not one for basketball?
