Kobe has officially surpassed 30000 career points, becoming the 5th Player in NBA History to do so and the youngest of the five at the time of reaching 30000 points. The other four: Wilt Chamberlin, Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, Michael Jordan and Karl Malone.

He surpassed the milestone with 1:16 left in the first half of tonight's game against the Hornets in New Orleans.

Congrats to Kobe. You don't have to like him but you certainly have to respect his game. Seeing a legend play throughout his whole career really is amazing and we're all lucky as *bleep* that we're able to witness it. I'm just glad he's been doing it on my team forever.

I don't really like the all-white jerseys but that could just be me.

But anyway damn, how bout dem Knicks. It was raining 3's.

I won't be sold on the Knicks being a contender until I see the team as a whole still playing at high level after the All Star break. Maybe then they'll make a believer out of me. I just can't trust Melo to keep it going throughout the entire season. And yeah, it's obvious to anyone who isn't blind the Heat are in major coast mode right now.

If the C's are old, the Knicks are definitely old. Boston's gonna have a better chance of being there than New York. Still have Rondo

It's true. The Heat seem to be taking whole quarters off only to kick it up at the end of games. And the fact that they're winning a lot of them only encourages them to coast more. But with the record they have, can you blame them? Still, it's a little disappointing as a fan, but as long as they're good when it counts it's fine. Knicks seem to be pretty good though. That ball movement got me admiring them.

I feel bad for the Lakers, specifically Kobe. You know that guy demands excellence, and his teammates have not delivered at all so far.

Don't feel bad for Kobe, he needs to demand excellence from himself on defense before anything. Gambles way too much and he thinks his teammates can recover for him everytime.
