If he's a blackbelt he'll still be able to fight you adequately enough, even if he isn't a fighter, especially if he's also a wrestler. Unless you're able to knock him out quickly without being countered, you're pretty much *bleep*ed. I wouldn't try any kicks, unless you know some roundhouses and can put some forced behind them, otherwise he'll be able to counter you pretty easily, especially if you only come with a front or side kick. Otherwise try some sweeps to get him on his back or stomach and punch him in the head when he's on the ground, just make sure not to let him have your legs or he'll be able to get you on the ground and you'd basically be done. Hell, if you let him have your arms he would be able to snap it while he's down. Try to learn some boxing and be an out fighter. Your reach is enough to keep him away, so long as you don't let him grab your arms. He'll likely charge you, keeping his center as low as possible, so sidestep him and take a shot as he misses you. Mix it up body blows, uppercuts and haymakers, just make sure he doesn't see which punch is coming or he'll be able to counter you. Keep him moving while staying away from him and you may have a chance.

And he's not going to be afraid of getting his knees scrapped up. Adrenaline is going to cancel out the small amount of pain he'll have if he wrestles you on concrete. It doesn't hurt enough to affect most people. And I assume if you fought your dad he was pulling his punches, it's hard to hit someone you love with full force, but I'm not going to pretend to know your situation.

It ain't a street fight. Just a whole f*ckload of people I now have beef with after that i left for uni, and this guy's the only one who could give me trouble out of all of them. I'm stronger faster and bigger than the rest.


And about the knees, I can't use it that well. Not like those Muay Thai people can, if he were standing upright, the best I could do is knee him in the groin. Maybe if he were lower, I could catch him in the face, but it's so goddamned slow that I'm certain he'd just grab me under the knee and fling me over. Then pin me and go to town.

Judo competitions are a lot of shite, as are wrestling. However, they are both very effective in a one-on-one 'street fight', if you will. If he is indeed a black belt in Judo AND has 30 pounds on you, then it is inevitable that you will be taken down. It doesn't really matter whether he uses Judo or Wrestling here; although, I think I'd prefer to be wrestled to the ground as opposed to being thrown (Judo).

Once you are down it is very unlikely that you will get back up in one piece. Having a large weight advantage over you is bad enough, but the Judo and Wrestling basically means you are screwed.

He'll be able to manipulate you easily, sit on your chest and punch your face in. Worse than this is that some Judo trains submissions also. So, this guy might break your arm, mess your knees up or even choke you.

It doesn't really matter whether this guy has been in a 'real fight' or not, because he will have trained the techniques many times. You might have had a slight point here if the guy was training Boxing or another striking orientated Martial Art, as a lot of people naturally freeze up and panic when faced with a violent situation. The thing is that wrestling can be used defensively. Even if he is afraid, his instinct will be to take you down and hold you down.

As you have little to no fighting experience, I am going to assume that you have no formal boxing training or experience. For this reason I strongly do not recommend that you do not 'use your reach'. The suggestion that your opponent's lack of height means that you will have a reach advantage is absurd anyway, as you could just as easily have short arms and he long. Do not 'use your jab' as this is not a fight where you can win via a points decision, is it? All it will do, at the very best, is delay the inevitable. Even then, I'd guess that you don't know how to properly throw a jab or how to use it.

The best thing you can do is avoid the fight. Not because it's the adult thing to do, or any of that nonsense, but because it is almost certainly going to lead to humiliation and possibly a severe beating.

If you absolutely must fight then I can only suggest that you wrap both legs around your opponent when he takes you down. Mid to lower back is where you want to aim, and make sure you clasp your feet together. Ideally, get both of your arms under his shoulders and clasp your hands together around his back. Failing this, try to keep a hold of both his wrists. Your goal is to simply hold him in place. If you plan on using this strategy then I'd advise that you look for an instructional video on the mixed martial arts closed-guard.

Also, do not kick as there is a very good chance that your leg will be caught, or you might simply fall over. I doubt there will be much opportunity for you to knee, as most wrestling takedowns happen in a flash. Kneeing effectively is not simply lifting your leg anyway, you would probably have more joy by arching your back and actually thrusting your knee forwards.
