Dwight Howard is definitely a bitch. He's badmouthed Orlando so much behind the scenes and has attempted to play puppet master to get what he wants. Dwight is acting like a teenager through everything. He has never been a leader, and he has never been someone his teammates look up to and respect.

Plus, Dwight is a *bleep*ing idiot. "Trade me to the Nets! They are the only one for me!" Well, guess what, Dwight? Orlando FO doesn't care who you want to be traded to. It isn't your decision, and you haven't earned the right to issue such demands. Basketball is a business. We are going to trade you to the team with the best offer on the table.

Not sure what I'd look for if I was Orlando. I would be REALLY INTERESTED in a Atlanta packaged centered around Jeff Teague and Al Horford. That'd be a nice base. Houston could be nice with a Kyle Lowry + new picks, but Lowry worries me. Probably would get injured a ton.

Just trade Dwight. I'm so tired of his shit.

Its not his talents I question as much as his inability to hold himself or his teammates accountable. He could win a title if he was someone's sidekick but I can't see him doing it as the guy who is supposed to be the leader.

Talk about optimistic. Dwight isn't worth that much. Those are the only two players Atlanta would want to keep. I'd expect to see something like Smith and Williams before that.

The Nets are pretty stupid. WHY did they go after Joe Johnson in the first place? They have Marshon Brooks, who is probably going to get much better in the future. They also had 5 players that...oh yeah, aren't there any more. Johnson's an All-Star, sure, but he was also someone that the Nets did not need.

I don't think they wanna count on someone who is 'probably going to get better'. They want that better now(and develop Brooks in the process). D-Will and Johnson is a good combo, now you could argue they could've went for Howard which I agree... I may be wrong but it almost looks like Howard has been grasping out of their reach for a while now.

Some players want to switch to subpar teams for multiple reasons. Less media attention, less pressure, smaller goals to aim for before feeling ready to tackle a contender team, mad more minutes - I mean the Knicks have J.R. Smith and Melo who can run the SG position by themselves. Fields probably knew either he or Smith will get shafted in minutes. And yeah, to come back to the media attention bit, departing from the Knicks can be such a relief to some players with the crazy amount of media awareness that goes on there.

As for Lin... yeah, I think that contract is a bit high. Seriously think the Rockets bought into the hype a bit too much. But, I do believe Lin has serious potential. His slashing skills are already scary. Fix up his offense game a bit, teach him when and to who to make passes to and he may become dangerous.

They're obviously in win-now mode. They traded away a bunch of first-round picks for him. Looks pretty good for the Lakers to me, at least for the near future. Supposedly in the running for Dwight as well.

I think it's a great fit for the Lakers. Nash is an excellent PG who will be setting up Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum. Assuming they aren't traded of course.

Of course he does, but adjustments will be made. After all, Kobe was one of the major factors that Nash agreed to come to LA.
