KG signed a three-year contract today, meaning he'll still be around and I'm very glad to hear this. It will be nice to see my favorite player out there for a few more seasons, and I'm hoping he'll stay injury free for all of them.

You and me both. Plus, this also gives him a chance to help in the development of Jared Sullinger and Fab Melo, both of which I believe have the potential to become big-time stars.

He acts like a bitch all season, excluding himself from team huddles, saying stupid shit to the media, gets his coach and GM fired and then demands a trade to a place of his preference.

If I were Orlando, I'd tell him to *bleep* himself and trade him to the Raptors for a bag of Doritos.

I do think it's stupid that he's changed his mind so much, but right now if I were Dwight I wouldn't want to stay in Orlando either. Just let him go to Brooklyn already so everyone will be happy and shut up.

Dwight doesn't deserve to be happy.

It's not wrong to want to win. If anything, it's how competitors are raised. What can be brought into question are the choices made and casualties that occur in your pursuit of winning. More or less stripping an organization of its more visible management figures after Howard clashed with them, in an effort to send him the message that we're more than willing to comply with you, and then him going and jumping ship anyway leaves a bad taste in your mouth. LeBron didn't exactly go as far as to have the Cavaliers organizations slightly dismantled to keep him around, but his offseason antics (even if it wasn't his idea or his fault for the whole ESPN segment), and then the guarantee of winning something like eight championships really does push him to Enemy #1 status quickly. It's the conduct off the court that the public sees that often has people form opinions of them. =\

Obv, you don't understand the level of douchebaggery that Dwight Howard has managed to impose on the poor Magic franchise. He hasn't earned the right to call the shots with the childish shit he has done. When you act like a clown then you deserve to be treated like one.

I've heard stories about this from some members of my family that live in the Orlando area. Essentially, they've lost all respect in Dwight Howard and could care less to see him go.

Or whomever their first round opponent is for that matter. Dwight Howard needs an attitude adjustment; his behavior is making "The Decision" look good in comparison (never thought I'd say that, but a bad PR move isn't as bad as a bad attitude in my book).

Dude just needed to be honest. Signing the extension was actually good for the team because they can trade him to a potential contender for some good pieces instead of losing him for nothing. He is a douche though.
