It's like the Thunder forget Battier can, and has, knocked down shots before. Most defenses when playing the Heat only focus on their "big 3", but forget Battier, and even Chalmers are excellent shooters, and can provide the necessary lift for the Heat to pull out. =\

Definitely. LeBron scoring two points off a difficult move, one-on-one with a defensive specialist like Sefalosha or somebody is something I'd rather have than an open three by Battier or Chalmers, especially the way the Heat's support players are knocking down their three's this series. The Thunder aren't used to playing in that style, and teams aren't used to doing that against the Heat because they think they have their hands full with LeBron (which they do with him), Wade (who is overrated and really not a great shooter, so just make him spot up and don't go for his pumpfakes, which he jumps into the defender anyway so it should be an offensive foul/no call), and Bosh (who can shoot and pull down the boards, but is really just an average/slightly above average player and not worthy of the attention of more than one defender). =\

I actually think leaving Battier, Chalmers, and others shooting jump shots all day is a good plan. I'd rather take that risk of them making somewhat contested 3 pointers than letting Lebron destroy you in the paint for the whole game. Eventually they're going to cool off and stop making those shots, like what happened in the 3rd and 4th quarters of Game 1. And look what happened there, the Thunder just blew them out.

^ That's the ideal thing, good luck making it happen with LeBron and Wade on the same team. Especially if Wade plays like himself, people are going to be open no matter what.

^ or free throws, with that pump fake he does on nearly every jumper it seems that gets him to the line, haha. Still would like to see the no-call/offensive foul on that, but I highly doubt that will get called correctly. =\

Looking forward to the game tonight though. Not too much longer until it starts. Hoping OKC actually plays in the first half and takes an easy victory.

Chad we might as well be watching pro wrestling because of how horrid the officiating has been during this entire playoff run. And I thought the 2010 NBA Finals was bad--this postseason run feels like its worse!

Agreeing that that should have been called a foul on Lebron or no foul at all on that foul with 16 seconds left on Harden. Pretty bad officiating, but eh, don't want to complain about it too much.

All my predictions on who will win each game are right so far woooo I think the Thunder will win Game 4. I would imagine them being pretty pissed right now. Is this where the age and inexperience sets in for them? We'll see!

demonfurby I'm late responding but you aren't seriously using James' shooting percentage with the Cavs as a reason he isn't clutch, are you? You know that those are percentages where he was the only good player on his team and he consistently had to score against double and sometimes triple teams. Come on, you're smarter than having to use a cheap tactic like that.

Not going to pretend like it's not worth it though if it means my team is consistently a title threat. I'll take that deal.
