	It is a solid card. I hope Mir gets put to shame. I think Overeem can go far, but you can't underestimate dos Santos. Could go either way IMO.

	Honestly, I'm picking dos Santos. I know not to underestimate Overeem, as I learnt in the Brock fight, but I just can't see Junior being beaten in the stand up. ------------------- You've lost that lovin' feeling..

	Think it'll be the last fight we see Nelson at HW before he drops to 205, think it'll be a rinse and repeat of previous fights. Gets punched to bleep, granite chin keeps him upright, loses decision. That said, I'd love him to see him win against Bigfoot. Excellent card, I also can't wait to see Mini Wandy fight again, he's brutal. -------------------

	It's only questionable if you think stand-up ends at boxing, or boxing dominates the stand-up. Knees? Reem. Kicks? Reem. Clinch striking? Reem. Boxing? JDS. That said, JDS's boxing is the best in the HW division for me, and if he can catch Overeem flush, then it might well be game over. Overeem by TKO for me, although I would happy to see Cigano defend his belt because he's as humble as they come, and an excellent fighter. -------------------

	Rampage only has punches but you'd still say he was better standing than a lot of guys who can punch/kick/knee/whatever. While the fight is standing, I see Junior beating Overeem. Hence he has better stand up, for me. ------------------- You've lost that lovin' feeling..

	Not really, Rampage has shown that his stand-up severely lacks different techniques, and his boxing hasn't even looked that good lately. I'd pick a fighter such as Shogun and Machida as having better striking than Rampage by far, the reason being they are more complete strikers. They have a multitude of ways to finish a fight, Rampage has his right hand. JDS has his right hand. Overeem has more ways to finish this fight for me. Only a few people can get away with being one dimensional in terms of striking, the majority of champions are able to strike in all aspects. In fact, the only UFC champion that could be considered one dimensionally in terms of striking is JDS. -------------------

Yeah, Rampage has been shite lately, and I do agree that Rampage used to be a feared striker, and he got away with it due to the punch power he had. But if you take a prime Rampage, and put him up against a prime Shogun, I think Shogun would take it. That said, all this is hypothetical, so I don't even know I'm saying it, unless we somehow develop a time machine and let them face off (fwiw, Shogun has beaten Rampage back in PRIDE in 2005). Overeem point is valid, but he's also won a K-1 world championship since then, proving his worth as an elite Kickboxer. JDS has definitely fought (and beaten) a higher level of competition in MMA, so that'll be an advantage JDS has going into the fight. -------------------
