	Log in to remove this advertisement quote sublimetool pfft, matt moore... the only good i can see for ochocinco there is the dolphins having brandon marshall, (they still got him right?) hopefully for chad, marshall will get double-teamed often and give him a chance to catch some balls, i know the pats had welker, but welker being the slot guy didn't exactly help ocho that much Marshall is in Chicago.

	Glad to see what the Eagles did with the draft, even if it's 2 months ago. Really glad they put in the effort to get a proven linebacker with DeMeco Ryans, that has been a necessity for years and years, especially since everything else looks fairly solid. Don't know about drafting Nick Foles, but I can see why, with Vick always being prone to self-inflicting injuries via scrambling. I think Mike Kafka (third-string QB who played the last half in the Atlanta game early in the season) has a lot of potential, and would like to see him given some chances to prove his worth. Main thing we've got against us is the division getting stronger every day. Even if people still view them as Super Bowl-ready, we've still got kinks to work out. Hopefully, those kinks got worked out last year. And for the Bears, they are still the same old idiot Bears. They probably will screw Matt Forte as they have already, and if they do, prepare for Cutler to get bumrushed like early last year and the whole year before. Marshall will get covered pretty well, which means Hester has to step up his game, same for Johnny Knox. The defense is always solid as usual, and special teams, just let Hester return some, I mean, now it's possibly an overflow at WR with Marshall, Knox, Hester, and Earl Bennett. Throw in Dane Sanzenbacher if you want too. Glad to hear LT retired, he's a class act, never any contraversy surrounding him. He put in five straight years of great numbers as a halfback. Too bad he doesn't have any rings to show, but I'm glad he retired on his own terms. It felt like his time was up during his last Chargers year, when he was just overlooked altogether, but he's earned his respect. As for the Dolphins, good luck. The Pats might be in a jam at DB, but that doesn't let Ocho off the hook. He's got to play with a sub-par QB. Good thing is, he's got good RB's and a solid O-Line around, so maybe he could reinvent himself one more time. Phew, that's a hell of a lot haha.

	So Roger Gooddell has decided to uphold the suspensions of the players suspended in the Bounty scandal, citing the players' failure to support their appeals. The players did that because they viewed the system as corrupted because when it comes to things such as this, Roger Gooddell has been the judge, jury and executioner. I'm starting to think that Roger Gooddell is acting more like an evil dictator with as much power as Emperor Palpatine. 	I gotta say I'm sick of all the attention whoring the Jets are doing in just their training camp. They've been huge talkers the last few years but I don't remember them ever getting THIS much attention. I hope (and bet) they don't even make the playoffs.

That whole bit with Wade Phillips a few years ago made me hate him more than ever. Also, I'm sure many of you have heard by now, but early this morning, it was announced that Andy Reid's son, Garret Reid, had passed. Found dead in his dorm room, as reported here. I can't help but feel bad for Andy Reid and the Eagles, regardless of how much I don't like them. But didn't his son get arrested, back around 2008 as well? ------------------- last . fm

	Just curious, how the hell does a 28 year old rookie get drafted in the first round? I know, I'm late on this. Didn't realize the Brown's rookie QB was 28 years old until now. I know Chris Weinke was 29 years old when he got into the NFL, but still...how? That's a bit of a risk to draft someone that old anyway, especially in the first round, I'd imagine. ------------------- last . fm

	We've hit preseason play, and while the replacement referees shouldn't be getting this much attention in the highlights coughESPNcough they are. I'm just hoping they get the dispute with the Referees' Union and the League resolved or else this could be a long season for all of us.
