Aye, KG isn't what he used to be, but he's still able to do well enough on both ends to hold a starting spot. Just seems to have his good and bad nights on shooting, but rebounds he is still regularly pulling down. Heck, Garnett has been my favorite player since I started following the league back in '96, and for him to have lasted this long is more than I ever expected. He still brings a certain level of intensity and excitement to games though, and that's something that should keep him going for a bit longer hopefully.

He isn't nearly as quick as he once was, but he is still a solid shooter and rebounder.

By the way - Rookie of the Year - Ricky Rubio anyone?!?!?!

I don't think you can blame the coach, as he isn't the main problem for the Knicks. What they're missing is a solid point guard, thats why the half-court offense is always so disjointed and why Melo tends to like making fast-break opportunities. Waiving Billups was honestly the worst decision they ever made. Making salary room for Tyson Chandler when they already had Stoudamire is just dumb. Billups is a very good point guard, plus he already had years of experience with Melo. Its no wonder the Knicks fell apart this season while Denver is cruising.

Speaking of which, monster night by Gallanari and Harrington. Bet they're both glad they came to Denver.

I just don't think D'Antoni is a good coach period. He had all those 50+ win seasons with the Suns but he was never able to turn that into any playoff success. Many times, they got their asses handed to them in the playoffs. I don't think he has what it takes to be a truly successful head coach.

The loss of Billups definitely hurt but I refuse to believe with the talent they still have, that they couldn't be better with if they didn't have a better coach. They should be better than 6-9.

Speaking of losses, the Celtics lost Ray Allen in Sunday's game due to an ankle injury, but Paul Pierce stepped it up and took control of the offense. The Captain had 34 Points, 8 Rebounds and 10 Assists en route to a 100-94 win over the Wizards.

I didn't even realize that they had a game on Sunday--my focus was solely on the Patriots.

Damn, we got destroyed by the Celtics tonight. Thought it be the other way around heading into the game. That was an ass kicking's ass kicking.

Damn, I'm not one to complain, but what happened to the East and West Conference being in two separate threads? I feel like everyone just comes on to talk about their own teams, since everything is grouped in this one thread. Can't carry a conversation for shit.
