Wow, didn't expect that resignation.

The way that team was put together though...it was perfect for D'Antoni. A ton of players with really good offensive firepower. I think they could have been really good next season if they just tweaked some things.

I wasn't surprised. This move was long overdue. Mike D'Antoni's basketball game style didn't work for the Suns in the long run and it wasn't going to work for the Knicks either. He wanted the Knicks to become an up and down fast paced team...like the Suns. The problem with that is when you matchup against a slow paced half court team like most elite teams are, you can't run up and down the court and the team essentially forgets to play defense. On top of that, the Knicks don't have the personnel to run a fast paced offense either.

And the Bogut/Ellis trade made absolutely no sense for Golden State. What were they thinking?

I guess the coaching change was okay with that 42 point blowout last night.

Or that could be the Trail Blazers' problem too... I do sorta feel sorry for them withGreg Oden constantly being injured and their start player, Roy, suddenly ending his career.

And the Golden State/Milwaukee trade was definitely a surprise. I found it funny since the entire day they had been talking about Orlando possibly landing Ellis in a trade.

Handful of trades that went down..

- Washington will acquire Nene, while JaVale McGee goes to the Nuggets and Nick Young goes to the Clippers in a three-way trade that has been agreed upon. Brian Cook and a second pick will be sent out by the Clippers. Ronny Turiaf will also be included to the Nuggets.

- The Nets and Blazers have agreed on a deal in principle involving Gerald Wallace, according to two sources. The Nets will send Mehmet Okur, Shawne Williams and a top-3 2012 protected first round pick for Wallace.

- The Warriors and Spurs have agreed to a swap of Stephen Jackson for Richard Jefferson and a first round pick, a source confirmed to Yahoo's Marc J. Spears and Marcus Thompson of the Mercury News. Jackson was acquired by Golden State from the Bucks this week.

- The Lakers have traded Derek Fisher and a first round pick to the Rockets for Jordan Hill. The pick sent to Houston was acquired by the Lakers from the Mavericks in the Lamar Odom trade. The Rockets accumulate yet another draft pick, while the Lakers get younger and save on the luxury tax.

- The Rockets have agreed to acquire Marcus Camby from the Blazers, according to a source. Houston will send expiring contracts of Jonny Flynn, Hasheem Thabeet and a second round pick.

- The Lakers have agreed to send Luke Walton and their own first round pick in 2012 to Cleveland for Ramon Sessions and Christian Eyenga. The pick is lottery protected and the Lakers also get the right to swap their own pick in 2013 with the Miami pick owned by Cleveland.


So nothing huge really, but a few significant moves. In other news, Dwight is staying in Orlando at least for next season. Oh and I forgot to also mention that the Raptors traded Barbosa to the Pacers for a 2nd rounder.

Yes I love the Derek Fisher for Sessions deal but the one I'm excited about is the deng, ad taj Gibson for Gasol deal. Any news on that?

Wow what a retarded trade for the Cavs. Luke Walton is such a piece of shit and sessions is our best bench player who can actually start. And the Eyenga project never worked out, so passing up in Blair when they had the chance to get him in that draft is looking even worse. Just when I thought things were going well.

It's gonna be strange not seeing Derek Fisher in a Lakers uniform lol, it seems like he's always been there.

Weird how I was just thinking how Luke Walton has been with the Lakers forever. I'm sure Bill Walton must be very proud of him. Luuuuuke I am your faaaaaaatherrrrrr.

Got to catch my second NBA game last night over in OKC where I saw the Thunder matchup against the Blazers. It was just as exciting as it was last year, and I plan on making it to one more game before the season is over if possible. I like a lot of players on both teams, so it was nice getting to see a couple of guys that I wouldn't normally get the chance to (Aldridge, Batum, Felton, etc.). Had a great time and got to see a great game.
