Got to watch my first game in HD in months today as the Devils put together a neat little 2-1 win vs. the Isles; scored both goals in the last 100 seconds of play.

And David Clarkson is such a boss this year. God damn, I love it!

I only watched him consistently back when he was with the Devils but he showed some flashes of great play. Whatever playoffs it was before we gave him his contract he played superb but he is very prone to making some dumb decisions.

I'll always remember him for this though:

Flyers managed a shoot out win after the game in normal time ended 0-0. A win is a win though!

Boston's fan-base and team is nothing short of a whine-fest when they lose. Especially today.

To be fair, I was at work and didn't get to see any of the game, so I won't comment on the game itself. But I will say this: I find it foolish that Marty Turco didn't start at least one of the two games this weekend. There must have been a reason, but I'm not sure what.

I'm curious as to what the complaining was about...

God damn, that went downhill in a hurry. The war room in Toronto got the call wrong on Tampa Bay's first goal--that was a distinct kicking motion. But the idiots in the war room got it wrong, and should be disciplined/reprimanded for that atrocity.

After that, it just snowballed on the Bruins. Other than the early blown call, the Bruins stank up the place like a mix of diesel fuel and cow fart. If the Bruins keep playing like this they might as well just lose their way out of the playoffs because that shit was pathetic.

5 combined diving plays (3 calls) from both teams in a span of 5 minutes during the 2nd of the Ottawa-Habs game. Terrible 2nd period.

Ottawa can't do shit in the shootout. D;

Murphy's Law is in full effect against the Boston Bruins: if the referees can *bleep* a call up, they will. If the team can play sloppy defense, they will. And if they can't show a lack of frustration, they won't.

If they manage to lose their way out of the playoffs Claude Juilien should be fired, and only because how things have gone to shit on a shingle of late. Seriously, this is pathetic...

I have serious doubts about that Chelskiman because the Bruins have played a butt-ugly brand of hockey lately. Someone needs to stick a foot up someone's ass in the Bruins locker room because this level of hockey is unacceptable, especially considering how well they were doing from November to December.

Then again, maybe this game is what the Bruins and Flyers need to get back on track...
