Don't worry, at least your team didn't announce their intentions to tank this season by trading away their only veteran receiver worthy of a double team for a 4th round pick (supposedly). Buffalo just doomed their entire passing game (or what little of it there was). Teams are just going to double Stevie Johnson all day, leaving...nobody open.

He was reportedly traded for a 4th round pick (to the Ravens).

Thing about Evans is that he hasn't put up great stats, but that is largely attributed to the lack of receiving depth behind him the past few years. He has always been double teamed, leaving other receivers wide open. Without Evans, Stevie Johnson is probably going to have a shit season.

Even worse, he was a classy guy with two years left on his contract and he just got a $1.5million roster bonus this season.

I feel like they were doing Evans a favor, really.

The Raiders gave up their 3rd round pick in next year's Draft for Prior. As a result, Oakland doesn't have any picks in the second, third, or fourth round in the 2012 NFL Draft.

That's taking an awfully big risk, and if it doesn't work Al Davis should sell the franchise because he's that far out of touch.

On a different note, according to the San Jose Mercury News, the annual 49ers/Raiders preseason game is no longer going to take place as a result of fan violence at Saturday's game, which took place at Candlestick Park.

Two separate postgame parking lot shootings and a fan assault in the restroom during the game were amongst the notable incidents, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.

According to the Bay Area Newsgroup, who is citing a source familiar with the ongoing investigation, is reporting that Saturday's violence is suspected to have been gang-related. Specifically, the Nortenos and Surenos gangs.

This goes beyond sports now. This is the second incident at a stadium in Southern California this year, the first was outside Dodger Stadium after the season opener between the Giants and Dodgers.

To be fair you guys will most likely get at least one third and one fourth rounder from free agency compensation. So they basically looked at it as getting a great athlete for free.

yeah that steve mcgee did alright in that game vs. denver, and he definitely needs to be starting over kitna, and i know it's only preseason but they did look pretty bad against san diego the other day, hopefully they don't do what they did last year... and suck ass

Who wastes a THIRD ROUND pick on Pryor? What a *bleep*ing joke. God damnit Al Davis *bleep*ing die already! Pryor makes JaMarcus Russell look like *bleep*ing Joe Montana.

Davis has a serious hard on for guys who have speed. Pryor ran like a 4.4 which is pretty ridiculous considering his size. But yeah, he seems to value speed over anything else.

Davis is definitely holding that team back.
