McIlroy got over his second round yips yesterday, but I'm interested to see how he'll do with a lead at the Masters going into the weekend. We all remember that catastrophic blow up at The Open last July, and with Tiger breathing down his neck (I hope!) it'll be interesting, to say the least, to see how the kid responds. And, yes, I can say kid because the bastard is almost two years younger than me. Thanks for reminding me of my own lack of accomplishment, ass.

Seriously, though, would love to see McIlroy get a Major under his belt, so the golf world can talk about the next young phenom. It would be great if he, Tiger and Phil could mix it up over the next couple of years. I'd also like to see McDowell get back in the conversation, he looked pretty pitiful playing with the surging Tiger yesterday but I'm hoping he can be competitive again in the other majors. He was fun to watch last summer.

Well he's shaky but despite the disaster at 2 he still made par. Schwartzel has made 2 amazing shots, my jaw dropped with that birdie at 1. Tiger is looking good too, this round is going to be very exciting.

Anyone who says Golf is boring needs to watch this round, it's been so exciting so far.

That was so epic. I've barely watched golf at all in the past but really got into this tournament. Was rooting for Donald due to a bet and Tiger in hope of history, but it was so damn entertaining anyway Wish Tiger had got that eagle putt, he'd have breezed it I think had that gone in. Rory's collapse was just brutal.

It'd have taken him to a -11 lead though, can't help but think he'd have got at least one more birdie playing with confidence, after that he knew it was a long shot. Plus the pressure on the others would've been insane. Nonetheless great to see him playing so well.

I was keeping up with the odds a little bit out of curiosity, when things started to go mental Cabrera was the favourite, then Rory dropped off, Adam Scott was odds on, Charl really caught everyone by surprise until like the last hole lol. They just kept casually saying "he's been the best putter here"...turns out that really does help.

Don't think so, he was too far back and there were too many players. I doubt that he would have got to -14 or even -12.

What I loved about that was for a while it seemed like someone new would win it every 30 seconds. In-running betting would have been mental.

if he would have made the eagle putt, he would have been in the lead. That also would have got him in a rhythm. Really wanted to see him win, but that was a great tournament nonetheless. I do feel sorry for Rory though, what a horrible hole that was, not seen a triple bogey for a long time from a top player like that.

Luke Donald's last two shots were ridiculous haha, brilliant stuff.

Great television to be honest, I really enjoyed watching it. Was rooting for Adam Scott personally (after McIlroy's collapse obviously) but wouldn't have minded any of Scott, Day or Schwartzel winning.

Felt so sorry for McIlroy at the 10th. He must've just wanted off the course at that stage.
