Ok, here is a little wrestling strategy.

A guy who is obviously stronger than you, but weighs about the same, is moving in to grab your right knee. You have about 1/10 of a second to do something, and there are about six ways you can try to counter it. Only 3 will probably work. What do you do?

Basketball is great, but Wrestling takes about as much strategy.

Also, and this is hilarious. Our Wrestling team beat the ever loving crap out of our school Bball team last year in a School tourny. It was great. I think the score was... 40-32, and alot of the guys on our team are short... like me.

It has to be Basketball. I regard Wrestling as more of a soap opera than a sport so there is no competition. Basketball is a great game, it is one of the best sports in the world.

I think Wrestling envolves more acting than anything else. I mean, come on guys, do some of you really think that Wrestling is real? It is so fake. Basketball is a proper sport.

We arent talking about WWE.

As for playing basketball, when i was on my High School team (3 years ago, in grade 11), i played about 32-34 minutes of the game. Of course i didnt really waste much energy on the defensive end nor offensive end because the other team rarely tried to isolate me. On the offensive of end, i just run down court and wait there.. then get the ball and call the play (thus saving energy... i play PF/C but i can drive and pass better then the other players on our team as well as the better shoter... lets just say my team SUCKED).

In wrestling, the 5 minute match we had in PE class was tough!! You cant let your guard down during the entire time. It might be short but its more intense. Overal, both sports works you. One sports works you over 30-40 minutes while the other works you VERY hard for 5 minutes. I still like BBall more then wrestling and thus i think wrestling is harder.

wrestling is an individual sport basketball is a team sport and whoever says bball is harder has never spent a moment training in the 90 degree room that wrestlers have to. yes basketball is longer but a wrestler will use up more energy in 30 seconds of a match than a basketball player will in a quarter of a game. and another thing, bball players don't play nonstop they have about 4 other guys to take their spot if their tired a wrestler has just them. they know once they step out on that mat no one can rescue them

Comparing these two sports is a bit off you know.. xD
Wrestling is much more harder and physical but I really hate watching this since its so obvious wrestlers on WWE are just acting.. Id rather watch NBA.. Go Heat!

Well i have to go with wrestling by far i mean our whole team can shoot and dribble the ball well but, to ask a basketball player to shoot a double leg or throw a headlock theres no confidence there.Theres sooo much more teqhniqe involed then we will ever know i mean theres endless amounts of moves you can learn and you have to know how to chain them together to win but you dont have time to think you just react. And we dont just throw our weight around most wrestle are very agile and quick on there feet.A wrestle will usually win the fights because they can take a punch and take a man down with ease and inflict some pain in seconds. In MMA most of the best fighters wrestled. And i know for a fact they professional basketball players dont train as hard as wrestlers in the professional level. First they have a very strict diet and weight to maintain. Some even have houses dedicated to training they have there own personal chef, weight trainers, drill partners, instructors,and so on. One thing my coach always tells us is that "were a specail breed of human" because were the ones working our asses of in the summer in a small gym thats 100 degrees and up.Were the ones who starve are selfves at school just to make weight.And you think because you play longer Basketballs harder. I have one word for you WOW. That one match if its 6 minutes 5 or 7 that will be the hardest 6 minutes of your life. Your going to exert every last bit of stregth in your body that 6 minutes. And in basketball theres someone to blame always "we lost because he missed that shot or didnt block that shot" wrestling theres no one to blame but yourself. And you think its harder because we get breaks? if you call 15 seconds a break then yeah we get breaks. We dont get half times we only stop when some body spills blood. And we dont get subsitions its all you.Who cares about injury rate it has nothing to do with the toughness of the sport. And thats all i have to say on that subject.
