You think Kobe is better than MJ? You're the first person I've seen or heard say that and quite frankly I think you're nuts. Kobe might be a Top 5 Laker, but he is NOT one of the best 5 of all time.

1. Michael Jordan-Need I say more?

2. Wilt Chamberlain-He scored 100 points in a game, was an offensively dominant player, and would easily adapt to today's game in my opinion and still be a damn threat to everyone.

3. Magic Johnson-A dynamic point guard who could play any other position. His career was cut short by HIV.

4. Bill Russell-Probably the smartest basketball player in history when it got to the hardwood. Despite being the more successful player in his career, he was always overshadowed by Wilt Chamberlain's excellence in my opinion.

5. Allen Iverson-Don't hurt me, please...

This was the first thing that came to my mind. Kobe is a great player, but in my opinion, he doesn't even top Lebron right now.

I'm going to have to put M.J. first, even though it's kind of a biased opinion because I'm a Bulls fan.

finally, thank you stainless for mention lebron... this guy is a beast, i can't really describe him any other way, he's probably going to be the best ever... i overheard a stat a couple days ago while watching the cavs/celtics game, and only two players have averaged 30 ppg against the celtics lebron james and of course michael jordan, i know jordan has played way more games against the celtics but still, if lebron wins more than 6 rings, i'll call him the best ever. but anyways here's my top 5
