	My main gripe about that match would be people saying 'The best match ever'. Longest match ever and most records broken but it was tedious at times as they just kept holding serve, especially when you compare it to a game like Federer vs Nadal final two years ago when there were rally after rally finished with exquisite winners. Most of the points in this match were unreturned serves and volleys after just returned serves. ------------------- Visit the Sports Forum!

	The fifth set alone took 8 hours and 11 minutes, a record in itself for longest set in a match that tooke 11 hours and 5 minutes, which set a record for longest match. Lots of records were set in this one match alone. The presiding umpire was so enthralled by the match itself that he didn't feel tired at all. I doubt MLB Umpire Joe West has ever felt that way about a four-hour, nine inning Red Sox/Yankees game. It's back to work for Isner on Friday, which is when his second round match against Thiemo de Bakker in the first match on Court 5 will take place. The match is slated for noon locally (7 AM EST). Additionally, Isner has a doubles match slated for later in the day--that is, if this second round match doesn't take all day. ------------------- Proving the misperceptions of Asperger's Syndrome wrong to people since 1985, and will continue to do so as long as I live. 	No marathon today-Isner is OUT. 0, 3, 2 straight sets loss to Thiemo de Bakker. Aces in this match after 112 in his marathon match: Nil. And this one lasted "just" 75 minutes. A neck injury may have been a factor. And he wasn't doing doubles anyway, he already pulled out. Toe.

	I'm not surprised that Isner lost to de Bakker. He must've been knackered from the match against Mahut and if he had a rest, I reckon he would've won. de Bakker is currently losing 7-6 7-6 1-0 against Paul-Henri-Mathieu. -------------------
