	Yes, but a Federer Roland Garros win will close the gap to around 2000 ATP points. If Roger manages to win Wimbledon as well, assuming Nadal makes it to the finals, the gap will be at around 800, which pretty much guarantees that he will reclaim his #1 ranking, since the next two tournaments are in Canada and Cincinnati (hard courts) - both of which Federer had early exits last year and can gain up to around 2000 points total (and Nadal loses even more points once the Olympic points in Beijing come off). So for Nadal to lose his #1 ranking, Federer must win the French AND Wimbledon. On the other hand, if Murray wins the French, there's a chance he could take over as #2, which means that Federer and Nadal might actually play in the SEMIS at Wimbledon. Crazy stuff. Of course, the French is not over, and there's still a tournament to be played, so it's kinda pointless to discuss this right now.

	Serena won again and easily this time-1, 2 over Aleksandra Wozniak. No complaints from me. She gest Kuznetsova next. And I did see a replay of the one point in the earlier match where she claimed the ball bounced off her opponent's wrist at a key point and not the racket. She (Serena) was correct, a TV replay confirmed it.

	Federer back from the dead to book his place in the quarters. I genuinely thought he was gone when he was down those break points in the third, but he won't get away with that kind of performance against whoever he plays subsequently in the tournament. Monfils took ran him a lot closer last year than the final scoreline suggested, and if he is to face him next he'll have to up his game. -------------------

	And another major name remains French Open-less...Sharapova is OUT. Love, 2 loss Dominika Cibulkova that was very close to being a shutout as Cibulkova had match point at 5-0 in the 2nd. Cibulkova gets Safina in the semis.
