Its not hard to believe that A dude since you know Pens have more youth on there line-up, Hossa Malkin and Crosby where the rangers had some older veterans like Jagr, Shannahan and Straka.
Even though Jagr is slightly younger than Shannahan and He was driven to play good cause he wanted the cup for NYR and wanted to be remembered as the Jagr in NHL History as we know him.

Listen Avery is a honest man and a good player who leaves everything on the ice. I doubt you ever met the man on a personal level like i have, but i can assure you he's a great person. My dad knows the staff and i get to meet the players Face to Face and i can assure everyone Jagr and Avery aren't what you call them.

Backing up the Avery issue a little bit, I was reading an old SI issue (before the Avery vs. Brodeur problem) and the SI Players Poll said Avery was the dirtiest player in the NHL.

_{LOL that poll wasn't accurate i can assure you of that. Many people like the Wings and Kings didn't acknowledge his skills for shooting, passing, skating stick handling. The only thing they see is someone who can irritate people and get under their skin, which was no different to Ruutu against Jagr on game 5. Since he was doing just that by talking to him. Oh and lets not forget Brian McCabe of the Leafs which is also known to get under people skins and the list continues.}

Oh really, you can assure some poll you never heard of was inaccurate? How? Because some Rangers announcer said Avery isn't dirty and try 110% and he is so good or something like that? And I don't see how his actual hockey skills comes into play here so why do you keep bringing it up? No one has called him a goon or anything just a dick who has no sportsmanship.
