(EIHL) British Ice Hockey League |
|
Most people on this website are American and Canadian (I think!) So most will probably laugh at the sound of British ice-hockey, yes it's not a scratch on the NHL, but please respect the fact that people love watching the sport and the EIHL is the best we get to watch in the country. I'd probably compare it to the MLS, we see the MLS as a very poor league in the UK, so in a sense the EIHL is similar to the MLS, it just doesn't have anywhere near as big a fanbase! Former Sheffield Steeler Tim Cranston is an NHL certified agent, and also has a degree in law. The 'EIHL' began in the 2003-2004 season of British Ice-hockey. The British Knockout Cup was originally created to fill the void left by the demise of the London Racers in the 05-06 season. The EIHL consists of 10 teams, each team plays 54 league games a season. They play each team 3 times at home, and 3 times away from home The team with the highest capacity arena are the Sheffield Steelers, they play at the Sheffield Arena which holds 8,500 fans. Go Cardiff Devils! The New Jersey Devils should try to get Adam Calder. He has 125 points. ------------------- *bleep* you
