	About the coaching, Maddon now actually has some players to come in and pitch for him. We had solid startng pitching we just had a nonexistatant bullpen that took us out. BTW, the high ERA is clearly from the lack of bullpen (which has been improved) and playing the Sox and Yanks a bunch of times during the season. Especially the Sox cause we suck against them. We give up at least 5 runs against them. -------------------

Because it's A$$gelos that signs his paychecks. 4 other players-Glaus, Matthews Jr., Ankiel, and someone else, dodged suspensions this time. No surprise about Guillen though, at least he gets 2 more weeks before going into the AL purgatory. Edit: To surely less than nobody's surprise, Bonds pleaded not guilty to perjury and obstruction of justice charges today. He could get 2+ years in jail if convicted. 	He's a Japanese hurler. They're in demand. Rejoice, Boston fans, no more Eric Gagne. Milwaukee's gambling $10 million on him for next year and he can get another million in performance bonuses. Overpaying.

	I agree, way overpaying. However, I do think he can still pitch. He had his moments in Boston, mainly when there wasn't any pressure on him (either when the Sox were up 11-1 or down 10-1). I just don't think he can handle the big stage in Boston. He did well in Texas so given the right oppurtunity, I think he'll be fine. Still though, good riddance. ------------------- 1, 2, 3, 4

Kosuke Fukudome He's a 30 year old outfielder, and the top teams most likely to sign him are the Padres and the Cubbies. And Gagne will make a comeback being back in the NL with the weaker hitters. -------------------

	Ah, I see the Nationals have gone out and signed Paul Lo Duca to a 1-year deal. Definitely an offensive upgrade behind the plate, and he'll need to rest enough to give Jesus plenty of playing time. I like the team the Nats are trying to put together for '08.

Theres bound to be two because the failure I'm thinking of was the reliever, who is as a I said...A failure. It's a waste of money imo to invest in a 30 year old hurler who has arm problems. -------------------
