Jean Todt is the new president of the FIA. Hopefully he treats the teams fairly and doesnt give Ferrari special treatment which I fear could happen.

It would be interesting how the race fixing scandal in Singapore would have panned out if Todt was FIA boss, after the famous race fixing incidents at Austria and America in 2002.


I would have preferred Ari Vatanen as FIA president tbh, because I think he would try and improve motor racing even more.

Anyway first job for the Jean Todt is to lift the ridicoulous re-fuelling ban for next year.


On Jenson Button, I hope he stays at Brawn, he dosent need the money and how is he going to prove both he and Brawn didnt fluke the Championship victory this year if he is at McLaren where I think they will use him as No2 to Lewis.

McLaren will still appeal to him financially and the challenge of racing with Lewis Hamilton. Would be a great move for McLaren if they pull it off.

Yeah its emerged in the last few days that Brawn can't afford to resign Button until/if Mercedes come on board. Hamilton is making noises about wanting Button as his team mate too. I'd love it if it did happen TBH.

hope Button's move happens, make next season very entertaining.

That remains to be seen. I guess Brawn could bomb next year but there isn't really any way of knowing if McLaren will of over taken them next year, plus he will be number 2 to Hamilton.
