My first official fight was awesome. I did it on the second difficulty (experienced I think it's called). I was Liddell against Rua. First round could have gone either way as we mostly stayed on our feet, but I clinched every so often. Second round Rua landed a couple shots on me to knock me down, including a critical one, but I kept blocking his finishing shots and I eventually got out of it and back to my feet. Rua easily won round 2. Third round both of us were pretty gassed, and I knew I needed to make something happen. So right away I run in and land a spinning back kick to the body, then I step back and then run back in with a powerful jab, and then I step back out and then run in with a devastating right straight which stunned Rua bad. I pounced on him and finished him off with strikes only 29 seconds into round 3 for the victory. Man, that felt good. I'm not too good at the game yet, but this is really fun. I can't wait until the full game comes out so I can use an actual submission fighter

Edit - Okay, Chuck Liddell is 7-0 in my fights so far. I fought as him in my first 4 fights though, being 0-3 as Rua. In the third fight I decided to stop bothering to try and get that Muay Thai clinch to work, since I'm having trouble ever landing a knee. I connect on a few high kicks to start the fight, go for a jab, and Chuck Liddell throws his first punch of the fight: an overhand right which knocks me out immediately only 17 seconds into the fight. Rua just can't win in my demo

Another Edit - Okay, NOW I've got the hang of Rua. My first victory as him was via ground and pound, though it should have been submission, I didn't know clicking the right analog down was what activated a submission when in a dominant position, and I had Liddell's back for like a minute, before I rotated the right analog trying to submit him, not knowing it would just switch to another position. In the next fight I got the hang of the Muay Thai clinch. I tried to submit Liddell but I couldn't get a successful submission on (though I was able to attempt a few of them this time). I rocked Liddell a couple times, unable to finish the fight. Then halfway into the second round I got Liddell in a Muay Thai clinch, wrench his head forward at me, and successfully landed a knee strike to the face, WHICH KNOCKED HIM THE *bleep* OUT! That was glorious! I'm loving this demo

I've noticed that the ref is sometimes slow to stop fights, which is awesomely realistic I was Liddell and I knocked Rua down, and eventually worked my way to a full mount. I started landing hammer fists and stunned him, but wasn't able to finish the fight right there since he started blocking everything. I paused to get some stamina back and then I stunned him again with another hammerfist, and this time I knocked him out cold with another hammerfist, but Yamasaki didn't stop the fight immediately. I landed a few more blasts to an out cold Rua, which sprayed blood all over the place in an awesome visual. Good lord this game is awesome. May 19th can't come soon enough. Hopefully Kane does not try to kill me that day (inside wrestling joke, woop woop!!!).

Oh geez, I just did the single arm collar tie up as Liddell and checked what special moves Liddell could do from there. I saw that other than the basic strikes, I could only do an uppercut, so I held the left bumper and hit Y like it said. It knocked Rua out immediately

You know whats crazy, I haven't read about one person NOT liking the demo.

You know how there's always that one person who finds something wrong with a game. I've yet to see that person.

OMG, I got the most beautiful KO on Shogun ever. I rocked him about 4 times in the first round, dropped him again, let him up, then went in for a Superman Punch that literally stunned him in his tracks. My stand up is vastly improving now that I know how to do most of the moves. Need to work on my ground game and submissions, but for the time being, I'm The Iceman, what ground game, right?

Just finished playing the demo. Turned out to be impressive. I can't wait to give it a rent next month. It might just get me to watch UFC more.

Orf as another option can anyone tell me if the demo is available on the internet on my PC to download from a site such as Filefront.
