The same beast that won 67 in the regular season. They ran into a bad matchup in the first round, they're still going to be a contender next year. Then you have Phoenix who added Grant Hill and reigning NBA Champs San Antonio which didn't lose a single player save for a couple of guys from the end of the bench. Boston is improved on paper yes, but we have yet to see how well these 3 are going to play together, and they have no bench to speak of. I expect them to be a playoff team but I don't think you can automatically call them the favorites without even having played a game yet.

I agree with Phoenix and San Antonio but not with Dallas. It's still hard for me to consider Dallas a threat to anyone since they lost to the Golden State Warriors in the 1st round of the playoffs.

As I said above, it was a bad matchup for Dallas. I firmly believe that had they played anybody else in the first round we'd be talking about the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks. And this coming from a die-hard Spurs fan.

Oh I'm not trying to make excuses for them, I was the happiest guy in the world when they got knocked out by GS, but I don't think you can judge their entire value based on a single playoff series. They're still an excellent team.

The stats of the Celtics big 3 will be a little inconsistent. But the can get the job done.
And I wonder how Rajon Rondo will do. Maybe he can step up in assists because he has more talent around him now.

If they stay healthy (always a big if with T-Mac and Yao) and jettison some of that unwanted baggage (Alston). Once either T-Mac or Yao goes down for a while, if they do, game over. The past has shown that with both of them they're as good as anyone, but if even one's gone they drop off tremendously.

Edit: For those curious, the Haywoodism Of The Week in my sig is a lighthearted reference to Boss's other boy Andray Blatche being arrested in that prostitution bust a while back and Hwywood quoting a famous line denying any such involvement. And having the big nose to prove it.

Anyone have any speculation on where Kobe might go? If he went to Houston, him, TMac, and Yao would be better than Boston, IMO. Everyone says Chicago, though. The trade would have to include either three young up-and-coming players or two semi-star players and two first round picks. Any other thoughts?

*bleep* no, John Paxson found out that waiting is good after Luol Deng emerged last year, plus Tyrus has been working on his offense during the off season so we'll have a low post threat soon enough

Yeah I heard that bullshit and my response is Ill belive it when I see it...

I mean really he must've improved ALOT in such a short amount of time since palying in the FIBA tornament this summer.
