To pick the godstone back up you just had to go back up to it and hit the 'X' button and it would ask if you want it again.

The statue after Lorenzo, right? The only thing you can do is button mash. That is the quickest way to get it up. Also to get away from Lorenzo quicker is to shut the door after his boss fight. And keep running and have Fiona charge at the jammed door instead of waiting for Hewie.

That's the door you're supposed to go through. You can unlock it before the boss fight, but it's too late for that so you're just going to have to try and unlock it and get through quickly. I had that problem on my first play through too.

Just keep trying I guess, the end of the game is right through that door.

I think square is to tackle. Just don't stop running even when the place starts to shake, Fiona won't fall if she's doing the tackle animation.
