Yeah id take Jedi, purley cause they are not evil but then again the dark side does seem somewhat tempting for some unknown reason !

I would have to say sith. Dark arts are way more powerful then light arts.

No, a jedi can't influence midi-chlorians. But the jedi can have a physical existance after they have died. Sith can't do this, according to the book of the film.
