What things would you have liked to be in the game?

Well I noticed there are a few people who are saying they would have wanted particular things, so what are they?

For me I wanted:

- Ability to fly star ships, i.e. when heading to General Giervous's command ship.

- The Yoda vs Palpatine fight.

- Play as Yoda on the Wookie planet.

I can't think of anymore right now, but I'll add more later.

It was kind of annoying how the developers had this mentality of 'if the chracter loses in the movie then it can't be in the game'. I don't care if Yoda ultimately loses against Sidious, that whole scene was just crying out to be a boss battle. When I saw the movie and Palpatine starts hurtling those Pods at Yoda and he has to jump out the way I kept thinking "Man, I can't wait to play this." It could have just been that you simply had to last a certain amount of time against him or something, there must have been some way they could have included it, they shouldn't have just omitted it. Plus, as was said above, there should have definately been a level where you play as Yoda and have to fight side by side with the wookies as you get to your ship. And why no Mace Vs Palpatine? I mean, Mace actually wins that fight and has Palpatine cornered. Once you're done you just switch to Anakin and it goes on from there. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a great game but they missed soooooo many opportunites to make it even better.

My hit-list for additions would be:

- Mission One: "Battle of Coruscant"
LEGO Star Wars does this mission brilliantly, and even though it looks like LEGO, is just like the film: dizzying, fast, explosive and tense. Including this properly in the official game would have been amazing.
- Mission Nine: "The Clone Wars", Mission Twelve: "Order 66"
These should have been Yoda-based missions on Kashyyyk, the first of which concerns the Droid beach invasion as seen in the film and the second of which shows Yoda having to escape after Order 66.
- Mission Sixteen: "Duel of the Masters"
As everyone agrees, the Darth Sidious versus Yoda battle in the Senate Chamber should have been included as a mission where you either play as Yoda or, seeing as they let you be Darth Vader, Darth Sidious. It would have been a spectacular mission.
- Versus Characters:
Yoda and Darth Sidious should have been available, because they automatically should have been because of the missing mission from the single player. Luke Skywalker would have also been nice to see and perhaps some of the lesser Jedi from the film, like Plo Koon, Ki-Adi Mundi and Kit Fisto.
- Co-Operative Missions:
These should have been slightly longer and more in quantity. Perhaps a co-operative two-on-one duel with Count Dooku, or a similar approach that LEGO Star Wars took by having Obi-Wan Kenobi and Commander Cody fight General Grievous?

In most film licence games it always seems like they're stretching every scene so that they can make a level out of it. Revenge of the Sith is such a perfect subject for a videogame (the prequels have even been refered to as glorified videogames by many critics) that I can't believe how much stuff they decided to not include.

I would like it if they had darth maul as a playable duel character and luke skywalker

Aside from the missing battles from the movie that have been mentioned already, I would have liked to have seen some of these things.


1. Complete move lists for all of the other duelists in the VS mode. Only Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker get the cool finishing attacks once the lifebar is flashing. The rest of the characters are reduced to either using a generic combo, or using the basic lunge with O to stab through the chest.

Anakin's grab by the throat and stab is awesome, as well as Obi Wan holding the enemy up with the force, and sending his lightsaber through them with the force also as they hang helplessly in the air.



2. I would have liked to have seen more duelists. This game really got me playing it with the duels, NOT the story. The story was way too short, linear, and ultimately gets very boring. The multiplayer lightsaber duels are the game's saving grace, and more characters would have been great. Characters such as Qui-Gon Jinn, Darth Maul, Shaak Ti, Master Fisto, Master Yoda, Emperor Palpatine, Plo Koon, and Luke Skywalker, complete with signiature critical attacks like Obi Wan and Anakin. If just those characters were added, there would have been much more depth and it would have been a lot of fun.


I think that the basic things are there with the lighsaber duels right now that with some touchups here and there and more characters, they could make a fantastic Star Wars fighting game that was nothing but the lighsaber duels. I found the blocking a bit too easy in this game, if you hold down the L1 button all the time, youre virtually unhittable. This makes the fights somewhat boring when you realise that you want the OTHER guy to swing first so that you can saber shunt him back, and then open up with a combo while he is defenseless. There needs to be a bit more of a reward for taking an offensive approach to the battle, not just having every one of your combo moves blocked while holding down a single button constantly.

Thought of another one:

- Walk freely on the planets. I love it I KOTOR where you have to go to your next mission, not be handed it. For example I would like to have flew to Palpatine's chambers when Mace Windu was about to kill him. Maybe even have a time limit.

no dude u got it all wrong a time limit would suck because in real life u wouldn't have a time limit. but to be able to walk around planets, or fly(on planets like corrusant(spelling)).
