yeh kinda too short, some ppl claim they finished this in 8-10 hours. probably theyre focusing this more to the local multiplayer. theres new game+ and new game++ tho. that will keep u busy for another 20 or so hours

too short my arse.

ive played heavily for the last four days, and i havent even touched story mode, other than to get the stamp card.

multiplay is the only thing ive done so far, and im a level 44 ninja!

well, i have the ninja armor, and Zantetsu, the samurai sword looking thing.
(its all as strong as it can get, 3 star, and i have a life ring that regens HP over time)
but yeah. nowhere near short. just depends what you wanna do.

well, i was talking bout the story mode. i just beat it yesterday, did it in 10 hours, all 4 party member were lvl 40. thats all i did, i havent play the multiplayer. 10 hours is kinda short for the story mode. even tho u get new game+ and new game++, its just a repeat, theres no new story or anything.

i assume multiplay is longer yeh, since u would want to get to lvl 99 and get the best equips for ur guy. too bad they dun have online multiplayer. i can only solo it for now.

i think that its short cuz its hard to think up a solid story line that'll last for very long and still be loved, i think what they were trying to do was make a fabulous storyline that would feel like a book or a movie kind of think, just my ideas though, i am probably waaay off, lol

Would it be good if the new game+ featured them as older? iunno its just a thought

The single player story mode is pretty short, although there two more run throughs and there is the multiplayer function although the multiplayer requires knowing others with the game, which I don't so I can only play single player.

My game is lasting pretty long since I'm only playing for a few minutes a day.

That's nice =P i found it lasting pretty long as i was trying to get the scrolls for everything too bad i ran out of patience...

yea im not done the main story yet altho mutliplayer is pretty cool id recommend threatening ur frends to make them buy it (*joke*.....haha) since it can be like a whole new game. wuts this new game+ and new game++ tho ive never heard of it?

In multiplayer after beating "Old Temple" or Crystal temple you are then viewing the credits that you can skip with the start button and reverted back to the world map. After this new game plus for multi has started in single its a little more story based so find out that. So in multi you now have the option to do the first dungeon again in hard mode, after completing all dungeons again in hard mode ... very hard is unlocked and im currently on the last dungeon in very hard and i recommend getting high level friends because it is very hard =P

I've beaten story twice, so naturally, I'm on story++ by now.

Really, the only difference is that the enemies are stronger compared to the last time. The game actually gets easier as you go on because by that time, you already know what to do.

Anywho, all my peeps are at least lvl 85 by now. Plus, all their equipment is the highest I can get for them with three stars. Hp & Sp regen rocks! Though I have yet to figure out what lady luck does...

Anywho, if you play the game through three times, it'll last you pretty long, a total of at least 30 hours.

Not to mention you have multiplayer mode, which is what I think they were trying to emphasize in this game more than anything. Only thing that sucks is you can still get hit in pause menu.

So no, it's not too short. Specially if you take the time to find everything.

how do you get hp+sp regen ive never had anything what lets you regain stuff.
