Peppita Or Albel? Roger or Nel?

Ok, now that I'm near off Elicoor, should I get Roger or Nel? Later in the game, I know you can choose if Peppita can stay in your team. I wanna know, yes or no?

So my question is Peppita or Albel? And Nel or Roger?

<sub>I go with Peppita and Roger because they're both heavy hitters and decent supports.

Nel is great too with Whirlwind and Mirror Slice, although she's hard to control in my opinion.

Albel sucks. Damage output wise, and he lacks versitility. Overall he is the only one I don't reccomend, but I vote you choose your favourites.</sub>

Like Etherlight said, go with your favorites. If you're not planning on using both of your optionals in battle, take Peppita for her Crafting talent.

Sure, his sidestep might be slightly better, but there's one problem. He has no good long-ranged skills.

Bug Triad is probably one of his best, along with Charge and Piercing Claw. The rest of his moves are lacking. Raging Helmet does too little damage too slowly. Flying Torpedo brings Roger to long-range when he misses. A lot of his other moves are either near worthless damage-wise or are fire elemental. As far as all 10 characters go, Roger is probably in the bottom two with either Albel or Adray.

If you're new to the game, this is true. Whirlwind, if used correctly is one of the best Battle Skills in the game, even for the post game bosses like Freya and Lenneth. Nel also has Flying Guillutine and Divine Wrath, adding diversity to her arsenal. She's easily one of the top 3 characters in the game.

Roger is my main man. I kept him in my party in DISK 1 the hole time. He was 20 more Lvl's than anyone in my group! XD And his flying tornado was the shits! I also gave him healing ability to!

Peppita is great in the start of DISK 2 and somewhere in the middle once you get more along the game. Never would survive with out that fairy dance!

I picked Albel and Nel. If you want to use item creation easily at some points, i'd pick Peppita. I never used Roger.

That's strange, Nel has always been the only character I am good at playing with. And whirlwind is the only move of hers that I found no use for.
