I finally got Mario kart DS for an awesome price!!!...but i can't wait till it comes in the mail which will be about a week and a half ....what should I do???Is there anything I need to now when I get it???

Don't get discouraged if you race one of the forum regulars over WiFi. To put it bluntly, they will probably beat you badly. It's not that you are bad, but because you are new you are at an extreme disadvantage. It will take awhile to get used to the game's mechanics, especially skills like mini turboing and eventually snaking.

I'm glad that we have a new face in the forum though. If you have any questions once you get the game, we're all here to help.

Once learned, snaking is easy yes.

Don't worry I'll only be using the action replay to get all characters and stuff so I have more things to choose from cause i really like shy guy and dry bones.

Well you'll need all the practice you can get, so I wouldn't cheat AT ALL.

Well, come back to Neo, don't flame, and try to race some of us over WiFi for practice. Also, do Time Trials and see if you can beat any of our times.

Note: If you race SuperSmashBrosSS, the chances are extremely good that you will get whooped. He's ranked #83 in the world and has beaten me all seven times we raced.

Okay, unlock Dry Bones and the Dry Bomber, read the manual on how to miniturbo, and start learning how to do it on curves. Your times will greatly improve.
