re: What Are The Positives?

Do not get this game. Seriously. Pleeaaasse do not get it. It's the worst game in PS2 history.

Basically, the unfinished remains of a 2001-2002 DBZ rpg game (judging from the screens of said game) were taken, tweaked, and rushed out there to make money off of it. Every review site easily hated the game, even the non-legit ones.
Trust me, it's a horrible game. I'm a big DBZ fan, and have had all the DBZ games ever released (import too) at one point or another. Sadly, I still have a copy of Sagas floating around somewhere. I couldn't sell it back for much credit. ;\

If you want a good DBZ game on the PS2, many will tell you the best one is Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 - however, the third game is in the works right now, and will likely be even better than 2.

Also, don't confuse the Budokai Tenkaichi series with the regular "Budokai" games. There are three of these, and while okay, the Budokai Tenkaichi games have a much better combat system, camera system, and much more characters. You should be able to find the second game in the BT series for twenty bucks. If you already have this one, then I suggest Budokai 3. If you've got that one too, just save the money for BT3. It's not worth spending anything on Sagas.

I'll put up some gameplay footage in a day or two (have to search for it) of Sagas. Hold off on buying it if you can. ;|

Pretty much the only pro I can muster up about this game, is that it has co-op for most of the levels. Bad thing is, you'll probably be hurt for torturing any relatives/friends you are trying to co-op this game with.

OMG Is It Really That Bad... I Heard That It Was The Best Co-op Game Ever Becasue Its Free Range And You Can Kill Your Enemies Together Rather Than Fighting Against Each Other?? Is That True?

re: What Are The Positives?

It's not a free-range game. The levels are simple, and not that impressive. The gameplay mechanics are horrible, graphics horrible, sound horrible, music horrible - only thing it had going for it is the loading screens between missions, which would be spliced footage from the show that explain the story while the next mission is loading. When the mission is finally loaded you can skip the remainder of the movie, which was a nice feature, but really, that was it.

We'll get a great Co-Op DBZ game eventually, but this isn't it.

Other, superior co-op games are: Timesplitters 1-3, X-Men: Legends 1-2, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1-2, Champions of Norrath 1-2 (Champions: Return to Arms is the sequel's name), Project Eden, The Fantastic Four 1-2, Barbarians, Half-Life, and others.

re: What Are The Positives?

Ok Thanks, Shame That They Didnt Spend Alot Of Time On DBZ Sagas, Such A Let Down To See The Restrictions When Travelling, And Annoying Frozen Attacks Every Time You Did A Combo.
