Been in the game for quite a while now, started a little after Mercedes was released. You'd think nexon would have fixed it before the release of DS

Well, Demon Slayers start off pretty interesting, but get pretty dull fast

I am trying to hold off my judgement until at least lv90 on DS (currently lv52). So far, they are not very fun. Not a fan of their button-mashing attack! My hands hurt! I love how they do nto use MP pots, but I hate that most of their attacks so far steal my HP!

Still love my Cannon Master though! lv126!

Stupid maintenance today! There goes an entire day lost for me (work at 5pm, when it ends for me....eastern time).

I'm actually just getting into DS and the hp use is definitely a problem. im lv24 and so far i only use the regular attack except for the skill quests; great range and high damage if you keep mashing the button.
Is it possible to kill yourself accidentally using the hp skills?

Well besides that, i figure battle mode is screwed now; because of DS glide and uberjump they can just get away and swoop back in. Merc was bad if ur skills have small range, but it was manageable.
Overall i think it's an easier class, and sheerly due to range and damage it might be the best warrior class, as long as you can afford the pots.

If you didn't need them in towns to re-pot, you could remove the arrow keys from your keyboard and be just fine.

Battle mode sucked on release to be honest, something was to be expected with just how bad nexon is at balancing.

You probably can't kill yourself, I'd think you would get an "out of MP" sort of message.

Well my DS is lv97 now. would be much higher if i could log in for more than a few minutes this past week or so. They took out the jumping and gliding for battle mode, but their skills have such high damage and range, plus the Vengeance skill that can kill people without you even attacking; basically, if you aren't a demon slayer, you are automatically below all demon slayers on the scoreboard(ironic though that they take out the cheap DS movement skills but not those of the mercedes)
Also i believe Soul Eater has a 100% chance to paralyze until death during battle mode. sometimes i drop down and i cant ever move or attack. very very stupid now.
Overall it's a fun class definitely, but perhaps a little too easy. once i found out about the healing ravens skill i started using 2/5 AP every level on hp.
now that skill can recover about 5000 hp every 10 seconds, so i use literally no pots ever. Of course there's also that insane skill that doubles my weapon def and magic def. with almost 12k hp i never worry about that 45hp cost of soul eater(very unique that a 2nd job skill is better for regular use than any 3rd job skill, unless you don't mind the carrion breath, which costs around twice the hp and fury) and my attack is strong enough and has such a miniscule(XD Neoseeker thinks miniscule isn't a word ) time between skill uses that i can kill the lv100 herb town scroll boss thing in about 2 minutes(the 10% boss damage helps) To the point where channelsurfing for it is good exp because i get around 8% per kill and if i find them fast enough it's much better than the herb monsters. Even better than a DualBlade(but of course only because of DB lack of range)
This is starting to feel like an essay that i enjoy writing(which is a contradiction) well, i figure forum users read often
i like it and it's very different but at this point it simply dominates MS and probably will until the march update banning the production, and the evan update which should hopefully make them less susceptible to dying quickly and continuously without buying a mastery book for magic guard
DS is new and crazy, with an entirely new stat that should prove useful against the 1hp/fury curse(since though it DOES work on fury, mp is more complicated to recover and at the same time more costly, not proportionally but certainly compared to the ease of recovering fury at high levels; two full attacks of demon lash recover 90 or more, and the attack goes VERY fast, though demon lash glitches in Battle mode and refuses to go past the first attack despite mashing, which basically means if you run out of fury you run and wait or die fast)

I know explorers were changed a bit fairly recently, but maybe it's worth noting THEY DON'T COMPARE TO NEWER CLASSES! Although Cygnus knights are rarer than explorers, and probably stronger, they have that damn level cap of 120 that i could hit in 3 good days of absolutely no social interaction. I'm aware they turn into lv50 explorers at the end, but i guess i just don't like them so much; fewer options.
So Demon Slayer is great, other classes don't really compare, but once Phantom transfers to Global i'm sure nobody will ever play DS anymore. That Youtube video of Phantom skills is insanely awesome
