I may have lost my account, unless you guys can think of something . . .

Okay, so because of this stupid "change your password" kick Nexon is on, I tried logging into my main account (with my 60 brawler plus tons of mesos and items), couldn't, went to the MapleStory page, changed my password, tried logging in with the new password, wouldn't accept the new password. (Huge run-on sentence, can't be bothered to fix it.) I try to fix that and Nexon tells me it has to email my password to me. Okay, no big deal, right? Aparently I don't remember the email address I used to start that account. I tried all the email addresses I've ever used and one I made simply to start an MS account (which, oddly enough, I'd forgotten about) and can't fnd my new password. I always use the correct birthdate info, is there any way to find what email account is tied to a Nexon account?

Update: I think I stumbled upon the email account I used . . . however, I can't remember for the life of me the password or orhter pertinent security information needed to access the account. If anyone can help with that, let me know. Sorry to have bothered everyone.

I would say start with nexon, but nexon's customer service is the most lacking out of your choices. As stated before, attempt to get access to the email again, using whatever means you can (contact the provider). Also, be sure to check your nexon account every now and then, in case it was either a database error, you had your caps lock on, etc.

Off topic: I have 3 emails:

• General use & MSN - The one that's linked to most of my online accounts, such as Neoseeker and Maple Story. It's the one linked to my MSN Messenger as well. Because of email forwarding, I never have to open this email, as it's all forwarded to my personal email; of which *this* email has no link to. So if it gets hacked for some reason, the hacker only finds an empty mailbox, and no clues as to where the mail is going; if there was any mail there at all. (They can't tell, as forwarded mail is set to delete.)
• Spam - "This sign-up page looks iffy...I'll use a dummy email"
• Personal - Not even friends and family have this. The only people who know this address are groups like my bank.

It's suggested that the average person take up Koj's setup. An important email, and a non-important email.

Honestly, Nexon should let us change our e-mail, in case you forget that E-mail's password.

I have an account so old that it's e-mail is my parents'.

I may have lost my account too... The new mandatory password change means I can't log on to my account anymore, since I made up my birthdate on my account, and I forgot what date it was.

tips to never lose it in the 1st place

1. save it in a note pad if you think your going to lose it
2. never lie if you have to always use the same lie
