Metroid Prime Hunters Interviews: Vol. 2 Updated with ElderCheeseToast Interview! |
![]() Hey everyone, welcome to the Metroid Interviews thread. The basics of this topic is to provide the forum community with a bit more knowledge of certain members of the forum, MP:H wise and general everyday things. The interviews are picked at random. Keep in mind older, more active members will probably be interviewed first. Depending on the situation. How does this work? One person will be picked each week, or every other week. The interviews will be done by either PM or Instant messeging. Who gets interviewed? Anyone really, as long as they're active and show intrest in the forum. It is likely you will get an interview. I want to be interviewed! Can I? Either I or the community of members choose who will be interviewed. Don't ask. It may hamper your chances. These interviews suck. What can I do to improve them? Easy. Just PM me some suggestions or post them here. More ideas the better.- Written by Virtue. Next up is, ElderCheeseToast. Stay tuned! AlexxxF5 Interview Q: Most, if not all of the Metroid Prime Hunters Community knows about you, and your skills. How did you obtain these? A: It didn't take me very long to get good at the game, when I first started playing I really didn't try; I alt spammed with Spire but still somehow managed to win some early battles. This not being my first FPS, I got accustomed to sniping pretty fast, mainly used Trace and was able to take on some of the greats, being challenged by many. Basically I just played the game a lot, practiced against people from different sites and got to where I am today. Q: How did the Fatal 5 come about? A; My clan, "The Fatal Five" started up nearly two years ago. We focused on one game for a while, then branched out to others, which we've made a large impact in (H3, CoD4, MoH:H2, AWoR, SSBB). I was talking to my friend Rayman, a good friend, also my 2v2 partner (formerly), and he wanted to start up a competative team. So we discussed it over AIM/on MPH and came up with the name "The Fatal Five", a clan with some of the best 5 players in the world. Once we got a site and started getting well known (Which happend quite fast), the spots filled up very fast and we felt the need to open up a second division for our clan so it could prosper even more. Rayman thought of the idea "F5X", although they aren't the top 5 players in the clan, it's was and still is very hard to make it into the clan, you've got to have quite the all around game. Opening up this second division brought forth a new level of competative play, it gives the F5X members a chance at challengeing the top five members to wear the world renown tag "F5". Q: Some wonder, is that actually you in Crayer's Headshot Time 2 Montage? A: Ahh...the contraversy. To answer your question, no, that is not me in Crayer's montage, but one of his friends copying my name and playing like an idiot. I know exactly how to play SFers, the person who was impersonating me obviously had no idea what he was doing. I have played Crayer a few times though, once on random where he disconnected at High Ground when I was beating his ass 6-2 with Sylux, he later denied it although I added him the day before because I wanted to actually play him. And the other video where he was hacking on me. Moral of the story, Crayer is epic fail. Q: What is your response to PC Redsox rap about you? A: I really don't care about that rap or him, he sucks at raping as well as MPH. He's never 7-0'd me in his life, and he recently took down the video that he filmed against me where I 7-0'd him in about 7 minutes vs. his ***** sylux. Q: XD. Next question. What is a day like in the life of Alex? A: Hmm...pretty basic: Get up at about 7:30 or so, doesn't really matter what time I wake up for school because I have 1st hour basketball and it doesn't really matter if you go or not. Progess through the day, get home, go to the gym, if I don't go and play basketball after that I usually go to a friends house or come home to do homework and play video games. I rarely play MPH anymore, unless a war is coming up, I get challenged, or someone needs tested, you usually won't see my online. Mainly playing MK:Wii and Brawl right now. Q: Interesting. Its a shame you don't play much anymore =/. Wrapping up. Last question. What is the most important thing you can do to progess in this game? A: Most important thing in Metroid Prime: Hunters is...map control. Without being able to successfully control a map, you'll pretty much lose every time, unless you get lucky. The majority of people that fail F5 tests lose their matches because they don't time the healths and don't know when to do what. With me it seems pretty much natrually, especially at Pro Core/High Ground, I can literally time the healths to the very second that they spawn in. To get this, you pretty much just need good accuracy; knowing how to play smart and know what to do at certain times. I see, well thanks for your time Alex. A: Thanks, its been fun. Do I get a shout out? Sure. A: Shout out to all the awesome people at the F5 site, keeping the site active and the clan strong, F5 For Life! ------------------- MPH FC-4854-7592-6519 | |
