awesome. at this rate, maybe we'll get a portable version of unreal tournament. anyway, i bet some third party will create a web browser for the DS. hmm, Mozilla DS eh.

hmm, games i would want to see on the DS that uses wifi...i cant think of anything specific really. just some original game thats fast paced, deep, offers lots of customization options, and can be played with a lot of people. and if nintendo isnt willing to come up with a totally new game, then maybe add those characteristics to F-Zero, Star Fox, or Custom Robo.

I know the range is 30-100 but I'm wondering if there is an easy way to increase this? Anyone know?

This is one of the things that turned me on to the DS. They were talking about releasing demos online for people to try. But I wonder how that would work seeing as you have to use the download button on the interface screen and when you do that when you wanna play multiplayer and you turn off the DS, you lose that information. Would that demo stay on your DS, or will you have to download it again to play it?

i get what Someone is saying. it would be kind of like a demo disc for consoles, only its a big download. good idea, but i doubt that will happen. reason: space. the RAM in the DS is only meant to take so much. and most likely, when a company releases a demo, they will wanna use as much space as they can. on the other hand, there is another good idea, but it would require a wireless router on your own home. my idea is that nintendo sets up a special website where people at home can go into and download demos on their DS. it would send it out through the router into your DS, whereby you can play the demo to your hearts extent, then immediately download another one.

You can kinda download games. If someone in DS range of you is playing a game, you can "download" it and play it.

Unless I'm mistaken isn't that only for multiplayer, and if they choose to play multiplayer to, I don't think you can go around randomly just downloading off other DS's.

The ability to connect to internet is not a concrete plan, there are currently not any open projects that I know about at least working on it.(I head warp pipe might be doing somthieing though.) But based on speculation yes I would guess that you would indeed used your own wireless router.
