2) I think, some routers aren't compatible with the service unfortunately. Give it a try. If it doesn't work, you'll either have to buy a new router or buy the USB conector.

I can tell you, not every Linksys router. The one we had previously couldn't even find a signal. Thankfully, it died out so dad could get a new one.

Hello people!

I hope you are all well. I on the other hand, am tearing my hair out! I've my DS Lite for about 4 months now, and have loved it every single day. I used to be a regular on the ol' WiFi, but went on holiday two weeks ago.

Now I have been back a week, and I can't log on! We had to reset all our settings and that, and our laptops are fine.

I've reset my Nintendo WiFi settings, re entered all the relevant information (WEP Key).

I've been through the steps meticolously (spelling?) on www.nintendowifi.com, and carefully typed in all the relevant information (IP adress, subnet mask, gateway, dns) but I just get Error Message 52001).

Would anyone want to offer me a step by step guide?!

Well I have a router and a USB. Both the router and the USB used to be able to connect to the computer. My DS used to be able to connect to the USB but I was never able to connect it to the router.

My USB isn't working anymore so I figured I could try and fix the USB or just work on the router (which is much more convenient).

But my router is really messed up I cant get it to connect to anything anymore not even the computer. I dont know enough about computers to give you anymore detail than that. What number/code/id allows my router to connect to the computer?

Don't worry, all hope isn't lost. You can purchase a USB Adapter (here's an example of one) for the DS probably at any local game store. It's a little expensive, but it's definitely worth it for the WiFi capabilities.

1. They have a sort of Matchmaking, if that's what you mean.

2. I think the range is supposed something like 30ft. Don't hold me to that, though, I've only ever used a wireless router, which wasn't great.

3. It's not too bad. I think you need your WEP key.

6. You get a friend code for each game you play online. People add these codes to the friends list, and your (changeable) nickname comes up.
