Dsi d-pad problem

I bought my dsi last week but have a problem whit the d-pad.The diagonally is very bad.Example press up and left same time.I have see people say "the diagonally of the dsi is the same of the gameboy advanced sp" and my sister d-pad is better than mine (her diagonally is the same of the gameboy advanced sp).

That's normal. You're D-pad will loosen up after repeated use, making moving diagonally easier.

That's what happened to my DS Lite and I feel it loosening up on my DSi. Don't sweat about it.

I accidentily got my dsi wet, but it was fine. when i put in my action replay dsi everything was normal, but i accidentaly loaded the wrong codelist to my game. the screen went white and stayed that way, so i turned of my dsi. When I tried to turn it back on it wouldnt, so i waited about 20 minutes and it finally was able to turn on. Now the touchscreen doesnt work(i am pretty sure i dont have a screen cover on it), and whenever i use the d-pad the volume goes up. What should i do, besides getting a new one, or sending it in for repairs?

It's possible the contacts may have gotten dirty or even shorted on the main board, meaning your system is effectivelt done for. You can always look up guides and parts to fix it yourself, but the safest option is to have Nintendo look at it or simply buy a new system.
