Does anyone know how to convert video files to watch on your DSi?

I used to convert movies and clips to watch on my DS Lite but im not sure whether it would work with the new DSi?

Does anyone know how to do it? Or have you tried it?

Does that mean my DSTT Card won't work on DSi?

Is this even a built-in function that the DSi is currently capable of? We have the camera, music, internet access and such, but I've never heard of MP4 video files.

Renee could you point me to a tutorial that shows how you change the format to DS.

I'm totally noob to this. I thought the only way to throw videos on it was through a sd card. My girls allows bug me about my zune so she can watch anime. I just figured it would be cool to have there dsi store all there anime so I can free up some space on my zune.

Ok, well even though it took some time reading up on all the information. searching through forums and getting old out of date links from google. I finally found all the information about dpg. forma and how moonshell works and other homebrew apps.

So I ordered two acekard2i from stuffs4kids.com. Only US reseller on the acekard website. Great sevice fast, free shipping and very cheap I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy one.

Once I received the acekard2i in the mail only took me about 30 minutes to follow the on line guide to install acekard software, moonshell and dscomicbook. (didn't even know about it. Very cool program.)


I had 10 bleach episodes already converted using batchdpg from the day I ordered. Throw some bleach anime comics. And it worked on the first try. Just thought I would be a helpful person and share the info. Just incase some poor soul is searching the internet just like me for the same question

General: I have tried to download every sort of movie format exept for DGP till now on my DSi web browser but it always says: "This console does not support (name of format) files" and I'm really getting tired of it!

Well, if your in the US stuffs4kids.com is based out of Jeresy. I'm in Cali and the shipping to Cali took 3 days and it's free. There customer service was great.

Only thing I hate about the acekard2i is they are spring loaded. Which is really dumb do to the fact it's going to be handled by kids and teenages. My youngest is only 5. And I have to remind her everyday not to play with her acekard haha. She has 20 games on there and 8 episodes of The peguins of madagascar. And a bunch of disney music. Other then that it's surprisingly really easy to use. So many tutorials out there. Just make sure you look at the dates. I don't know how many I found dated in the 2006, 2007 and the links are broken and the info is out of date.

I used Super to converter the video files. Batchdpg works too. Super just seems easier to me. Even tho after reading the website you feeling like your downloading a virus.

The longest part of the process was converting videos and moving everything around folders and files in SD card so it looks nice and clean when you load it up.
