To make AR codes work with an R4DS, you DO NOT need the Action Replay at all, let alone its code manager. There are other ways to make them work on an R4DS, but I have only seen the software for Windows OS.
there is a sweet alternative for me, that migth work, or for at least a decent amc user its crosssover software, it lets you run windows programs (certain) but if that so, i guess i wont need the magnager ^^

Not sure about that. That software was written with .NET-specified programming languages as far as I remember. So if Macs can run the Windows'.NET framework, then you may have luck.
well it basically creates a bottle, and its comaptible with certain programs like pokesav , or no$gba..., but so far doesnt have an extremley wide range of compatibility

I have been user of AR for a long time on Nintendo DS. Recently I just installed it onto another laptop. This laptop is an XP. The installation went all smoothly until the moment I try to add new cheat. I right clicked and I couldn't find the option for "Add New Cheat". I figured this has not to do with the USB since I clearly could transfer the file from the AR chip onto the AR window. I tried the software upgrade option, but it simply say "No new products updates are available." I also tried reinstalling the AR program numerous time to attempt a fix. It's still the same result. I just want the "Add cheat" option to come up when I right clicked. My ARDS is also currently v.1.54. Actually...I'm in the same exact boat as this person: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090420183833AAYD6pROnly his system is Vista, and mine is Xp. I'm stumped on what to do in order to fix this minor issue. No people from other site have any answer either. im no AR user but in theory if before it used to work can you downgrade your AR?

And where can these older versions be found? The Code Manager I have is stuck in 1.01. The Action Replay DS itself is 1.52 though. Perhaps the versions need to match? As someone else stated, constantly clicking on the Software Upgrade button prompts a message claiming that there are none available.
For the record, I purchased this thing mid-last year if that makes any difference.
google, use google and you mgith get lucky or a p2p program, .

Speak of the devil! I found...a 1.05 version. Not what I was looking for but it lets me add in cheats regardless. I'd share, but I doubt the rules will allow me.
there is a way technically you could post what key words works, or also become a member (if you arent alreday) and make people who have the problem PM you

Unfortunately, by now I forgot exactly what I typed in, but the result DID lead me to a question on Yahoo Answers. I guess I can upload the .exe file somewhere and inform someone else, assuming I don't forget.

As of late, I'm starting to see more and more people having the same problem as us. I'm thinking it may have to do with the website...or something that I'm not sure what about.
i think thats more of a damn problem of the software than anything else

i think thats more of a damn problem of the software than anything else The ARDS still lets me transfer the files...so hopefully there'll be a way I can downgrade then upgrade the software for the manual "Add Cheat" option to come up. Definitely do not want to buy another ARDS and later finding out it faces the same problem. seek for Action replay DS 1.5 download, dunno if you migth find it

Sent a help enquiry to Datel and here's their reply:
"Dear Mike,
Thank you for your query, unfortunately we are unable to assist you until 26th May due to some technical work that we are completing on our site. Many of the answers to queries can be found on the website so you may want to check it out to see if there is any help on there, otherwise we will reply to you as soon as possible.
Kind regards,
Stacie McGowan Codejunkies Support."
I'm guessing their "technical work" is part of causing this issue I have.
Btw, I tried searching for 1.5 download on Google, but no shed of light on finding any actual download. I'll just wait for their help and try other sources.
Thank you for your help though.
try using diferent tags, and i doubt than than the answer is there, and the message its an auto message yuck.

I had to send my DS to Nintendo for a repair and just got it back. My Action Replay was working fine previously but now the DS won't recognize it or the game inserted in it. When I turn it on I just get a white screen. Has my Action Replay crapped out or could something have changed in my DS so that it doesn't recognize it anymore?
i was reading soemthign similar on wikipedia, what color is the screen fo your DS? when it freezes/not recognies it?

1st its better if you get the pokesav app, after you make your pokes trough the app, go and click exports as ARDS and save it as .txt for the rest is a good diea to go to us.codejunkies.com to get AR codes.
