Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this. I bought my Action Replay about a year ago, and just today installed the computer software for the first time. It installed fine, and I did updated for the Action Replay, they also went on fine. But when I try to add a new cheat, it won't let me, the 'Add new cheat' option will not appere at all, infact the only things that appere are 'Copy','Paste','New Codelist', 'Create Copy' and 'Delete'

I made sure I was doing things right, I watched diffent 'How to..' Videos. None of them said my problem. I unistalled and re-installed EVERYTHING, and that still didn't help my problem. I have no idea whats wrong, their is no new software to download, and no updates ad well. I've given up on trying to figure this out myself and thought it would be best to seek help, again, thank you for reading through this.

I have this EXACT same problem. I've looked everywhere i could, and a lot of people have the same problem, but there is never an actual straight answer from anyone. I just finished reinstalling everything i removed from my computer, but i can't enter any codes from code manager.

Hmm.... well i know i can't update it, because i get the same famous "No new products availiable" screen. I'll try editing the .xml. I never thought of trying that. XD

Alright, I have two AR's. Both somehow got broken. No clue how it happened. But for on it comes up just a white screen. The other it starts up but I lost the USB cable and it has no games on it. I try to restart that on but to no avail sadly. Anyone got any ideas how I can fix either one? I realize that there isn't much hope for the one that just starts up and goes to a blank white screen. But I just thought that I'd add it in. I'm just wondering if the one with no games on it can be restarted or something. Because I have tried the A B Start and Select. So is there any hope of restarting it completely? I'm just wondering. Also is there anywhere that I can buy a new USB cable? Also is there anyway that I can get the software installed without the disc? Because I got a new computer and the program is no longer on my computer. So can anyone help me? I'll take any help I can.

AvengedAnger, to fix the white screen issue, I believe there was a button combination to fix it. But I don't remember. Check your manual.

Ok, i have a bigger problem, and Datel is being stupid with their customer support via phone, so i'm counting on you guys.

Well, earlier today i was trading on my Pokemon Pearl game and using the cloning code with my AR. Nothing unusual. When i turned it off after the trade i went to go and start up another code i needed. When i turned on my AR, took it out and put in my game, it froze. As in, nothing responded. I thought "Okay...maybe it deleted the codes.". So i turned on my AR again and hit the button to access your codes. What i got was the first 5 games of the list of games i had on the AR, everything else was gone. So i scrolled down, and when i did, not only did my DS freeze, but i got green horizontal lines on the top screen and red horizontal lines on the bottom screen.

The wierd thing, however, is that it still shows the total # of codes i had on my AR at the top left corner of the main menu that i had before all this trouble occured.

The red and green lines problem happens whenever i go to my code list on my AR. The game inserting-freeze problem however only happens with my pearl game. I didn't drop my game or anything during that time. However, i did drop both about 2 weeks ago, but it didn't really change anything other than in order for the AR to recognize my games i had to take out the AR and then put the game into the DS slot. My pearl game still works perfectly fine too without the AR. The only physical damage on my AR is that it got bruised a tiny bit on the plastic near the bottom of it, but my Pearl game cracked a little bit on the back, but it's still perfectly functional and worked after i had dropped both, until now of course.

Please help, i depend on this AR alot for cloning when i trade on D/P!

Ok, I'm not sure if you guys can help me with my problem at all or not, but hopefully you can.

I've recently decided to use my AR again after a two months or so.
I thought I didn't have the program installed anymore so I decided to re-install it it meaning it was now updated to the version on the disk. I couldn't update it myself and after some searching I found the latest version for download on the codejunkies site.

When I had the old version (two days ago) it connected perfectly.. but now with this new one, it doesn't show up being connected.

I don't know why it's not connecting at all. I can't go back to the old version since I can't add cheats or update it, so I'm completely lost..

I did that, and it solved my problem.
But then I cannot add any cheats due to it being the disk version, and I am unable to update it for some odd reason.

I guess I'll be unable to add new cheats?

I feel it's kinda important that I bump this up, as this will be our main thread for AR discussion for the time being.
