Action Replay DS - The Official Guide [Ver. 2] - Page 10

OK guys.

Here's my setup:

Windows Vista 32bit
Action Replay DS Firmware v1.54
Action Replay Code Manager v1.25EU

When I first got my Action Replay, I had XP and so it worked just dandy.

When I bought it my firmware version was v1.52 and the Code Manager was whatever version it was back then.

My issue is that the Code Manager software refuses to acknowledge the presence of my DS.

Windows Vista knows what it is - after much searching on the Internet I learned how to install the drivers properly. When the DS is connected and on, with the AR card inside, it shows up as "Action Replay NDS Link".

But the software doesn't detect the DS and this is what confuses me.

My hardware is intact and the wire works so what's the issue?

I have done so many things to try and get this to work: install code manager in virtual XP under VMware, install the oldest version of the software, install from disc and more.

I am in dire need of assistance and I hope I have told you enough to help diagnose this issue.

Buying a new Action Replay should be a last resort - I don't like the idea of giving Datel more of my money for products that may cease to work later on.

I need severe help. I can not seem to update my AR. And the games will not show up on the left hand side, all it says is "Waiting for DS" I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times, but it will not work.

I've been having this problem too.

I'm using Vista, yet I have ALL the drivers and the ARDS is in fine condition. I can add codes and everything perfectly fine on the Manager. Yet when I plug in my DS with the USB cable, it continuously says "Waiting for DS".

I've looked around on the internet for help, yet I can't seem to find ANYTHING whatsoever on my problem. If I find something, it's either completely irrelivent and stupid or not helpful at all.

My firmware is V1.60, and i'm using a DS Lite.

So... any help?

Same freaking problem here. VMWare XP Mode doesnt fix this, its pretty annoying.

I just bought an Action Replay today. I followed the guide to installing it and it went off without a hitch. However, it still says "Waiting for DS" on the left hand side of the screen. I click to update the software, and it says that there are no new updates available. I'm not sure what to do, as this is my first time with the product.

EDIT: Oh, by the way, sorry. I'm currently using Windows XP as my OS.

Hi there, I just recently purchased an Action Replay DSi. None of the codes work for my games, Im using a DS Lite. Codes that require I hold L + R dont work. Codes that dont require holding anything dont work as well.

One question.

This has been asked a couple of times, but I have failed to see anyone answer.

When my DS automatically goes into update mode, a whole bunch of errors come up.

What is going on? How can I fix it?

To everyone who is having connection problems, I think you have to have the DS off and the AR out of your DS before it will connect.

i just finished doing just that about 4 times

is it a problem if i have windows 7, vista, XP, 97, or 95?
