	If you like shooters, I don't see why not. I'm pretty sure most people who play are mainly playing for the story (how many rpg fans are also shooter fans? Well done Square...) and it has a brief explanation of the story so far in the booklet that comes with the game. If you wanted you could watch Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, seeing as it is a follow on from that if I'm not mistaken... ------------------- last.fm

	well i do own AC, so, i guess i'll check it out. I do like RPGs and shooters, so this might be pretty cool. -------------------

	DoC could be considered a stand-alone title, since it isn't a direct sequel to FFVII and AC. If you've played AC, then you won't have much trouble understanding DoC's story (like who the characters are, etc.) - - - - - For a third-person shooter, Dirge of Cerberus is average at best. The gameplay can get very tedious and repetative, and Vincent is limited in what he can do. HOWEVER the story is quite strong, and the characters (although cliche) are prety interesting. It's a relatively short game that can be beaten in a weekend. i can say with pride that i bought this game!! it's not bad in any way cept for the difficulty... you gotta use your head often... if you don't then you never will finish... luckily some people, like me, are willing to help anyone who needs it... SPOILER: IF YOU NEED TO BEAT AZUL ON THE ELEVATOR YOU HAVE TO GO AND USE LIMIT BREAKERS TO KICK HIS BUTT... OTHERWISE YOU WON'T DEAL ANY DAMAGE:\| physical power is nothing... true power is from inside... 	I didn't find this difficult in the least, and as GG said you can beat it within a weekend. I beat it in 12hrs......and personally didn't find too much replay value, but that's just me. ------------------- LMFAO SWEET!!!! Another trophy! On Pre-order: LBP and SOCOM
