yup. i agree... i say do armor and weapons first, and hair last; hair is like, the same on all templates, so you already have it on your other tut.

edit: they're not done, I'm still trying to pick a direction before I continue. Batman needs a bit of shoulder and lots of cape work, I know.

i'm thinking i shouldn't have made kaiser kid my initial adult sprite, but oh well. it only increases the difficulty slightly.

edit again: and please! any critiques are still super appreciated. i'm really unsure about how i'm going about highlighting. (like bats' suit and bruce's hair)
i've found people really dig the highlighting aspect but something about it doesn't sit well with me.

nice batman sprites. not to say i like batman, but they're fair sprites. you might want to make the shading slightly more noticable. that's all i can tell you.

Hmm yours is quite nice the shading is good and the pants and shirt go well together. However i would change the hair to a dirty blonde colour as otherwise it is too dark in my opinion (three dark colours) don't usually go together.
