Help needed with map coordinates...question?

Hello,.. I am fairly new to this forum, and haven't posted often, but if anybody could help me, I have a dragon as an airship using coords on duplicate maps I made for passability and impassibility issues. So what I am trying to do is when you talk to a person on say" map1 - impassible " and she ask if you want to fly the dragon, you say yes, and take off immediately onto " map2 - duplicate - passable " then fly all over,..problem is that when I am flying on map2 and land off the dragon airship thing, I can walk through everything because it's all passable, so I need to find some way to transfer player map coords of x,y from map2 to map1 so player and airship is transfered back to map 1 the instant you land anywhere? but that still leaves the problems of landing on water while on map2, and I cant have that either..? so I'm really stuck on what or how to get through this part of my game?? any help would be so much appreciated,..thank you all in advance for support much needed right now.

problem though is the dragon is located from event pic ( Graphics > Characters ) folder and not in a tileset? so how could I make it passable then,.. and it won't work transfering it over into a tileset because its to big to move as 1 event? so what am I supposed to do...
