More like winter 2007.
We could use a new banner, but since its nearly winter already, we may aswell just leave this one up. If we ever become active enough to need a moderator, we can bug him about it. I don't really see a need to bug our section mod for another winter banner.

So? Publicize it then. If we had an active effort it making ourselves known, perhaps we would gain more activity. Honestly, i'm fine with the forum staying as it is. Just the regulars and the occasional visitor or two. Certainly not as interesting as a new face everyday, but its good 'nough for me.

I've been absent for quite a while. Care to explain what exactly happened?

To be honest there isnt any point in publicizing the place. This place has got a great google rating and nearly every question about RPG Maker XP has a thread from this place as the first result. This is what happens ...

1) People discover RPG Maker XP (fewer doing so nowadays)
2) They want to know hoe to do things so they come here.
3) We direct them to other places like RMXP.org for resources and script help.
4) They leave here and stay there.

This place doesnt have anything over anywhere else except for the fact that we are alot more friendly than some places. I dont hang out here to learn about RPG Maker XP but just to talk to old forum pals and help the occasional lost soul that finds themselves at our door. Its sad but true .....

Thats the problem, anything we cover here has been done before. In terms of forgotten secrets etc you might have a point there Mishtram. In the future all the other RPG Maker sites will simply die when someone doesnt want to pay the bills anymore. This place will carry on going ... hopefully Im still around to see the day

Really you're exactly right. But, though we're nicer and probably answer things faster, we have basically no graphical or scriptical () talent on this forum. I was pursuing how to script for awhile, and though I think I can do it, I'm not nearly good enough to make anything useful... Much less edit people's scripts or find their problems.
