I don't care for competitions, personally. The banner can't really be done without getting a mod or, if absolutely necessary, a Super involved though, right? One of us could easily host a new banner competition and then get a willing Super to change it. If we want to maintain the seasonal system, though, we should probably wait until autumn, shouldn't we?

If I had ever been a Moderator here one of the things I would have done would have been to compile a FAT thread full of every answer to most peoples questions. Then when nub threads open it can be a copy paste job to answer them quickly. I know something along those lines had taken place before but I dont think it was used as well as it should have been. Definately would have tried to get more people interested in RGSS too, this forum really is lacking scripters. The only real questions people cant answer are either problems to do with Windows and running the program itself or an error in a script they are using.

Id take part in competitions as long as it wasnt a 'make a game' one. Lets face it we are all damn lazy and to make a side game for a competition isnt something all of us would wanna spend time on when our own projects are neglected.

Mapping competition would be serious business though

Needs more thought put into it. Including entry method, and judging method. Prizes havn't existed in Neoseeker competitions before, but it would be nice to map for something other than love.

On an unrelated note, has anyone else had the sudden feeling that some jackass made multiple accounts and became active with them all?

No suspects, but it seemed odd that several folks appeared and all joined our discussions. I suppose that kind of paranoia is uncalled for, but it doesn't really happen very often.

Usually a new member has questions or 'tests the water' so to speak.

We have no one to change the banner.... although Mishy pops around every now and again. PM him... but what do we change it to? Banner competition time perhaps?
